We really appreciate original designs, specially when it comes to concept phones like the one pictured below. The Zeri Phone features a section that looks like the mouth of a Dune worm, but it’s in fact a bunch of thermoeletric generators, producing electricity through the temperature difference.
Basically, when the handset is in your pocket, it’ll detect the temperature difference and turn it into energy. The “worm mouth” of the phone is actually a fabric made out of knitted metal wires.
In case you don’t carry the phone in your pocket, it’ll rely on a piezoelectric system, using hair like generators to produce electricity via the vibration from the air. Interesting concept overall!
