Loading ... Loading ... We saw two Apple tablet concepts till now, one looking glossy and elegant, plus extremely thin, while the other one was pretty huge and probably had an impressive screen size. This time we’re taking a look at Chris Messina’s iTablet concept, a pretty realistic device, that’s also quite thick.

This Apple tablet concept comes with an USB port (at least one), audio jacks and a touchscreen that’s probably a 10 inch display. The design is quite normal when compared to other crazier works.

Loading ... Loading ... Tablets are usually on the tinier side of the portable device segment, incorporating 10 inch screens or so. After seeing Jesus Diaz’s incredible Apple tablet concept, it’s time to have a look at Vern Hart’s work, another iTablet with a much bigger display.

The device looks much like a huge iPhone and we do mean HUGE, but it seems fairly easy to carry, so it must weigh less than 2 kilos. I’m fascinated by the many apps it shows on screen and I tend to believe that the user will have a hard time finding the app he wants in that confusion.

Also, does this Mac Tablet sport some type of connectivity, since I can make out a signal indicator on the upper left side of the screen?

Loading ... Loading ... If the name Jesus Diaz rings a bell, it might be the fact that he created some very cool iPhone concepts a while back. Now, we’ve stumbled upon a collection of Apple iTablet concepts, that we’ve taken apart and we’ll show them to you, one by one. The first belongs to Jesus Diaz:

Apple iTablet Concepts, Part 1: Jesus Diaz @ Work

This Apple tablet is incredibly elegant, glossy and hot-looking, the perfect gizmo for folks working with quality graphics. It might even be thinner than MacBook Air (if possible), but one thing’s for sure: you wouldn’t want to drop this baby and see its beautiful glass screen shattered on the floor. To be handled with care!

Loading ... Loading ... Just as 2008 was ending, we showed you the iPhone Elite concept, created by Mat Brady and followed immediately by a customized version, the iPhone Pro. Now, even this beauty got upgraded, as its designer realized that people would rather use an optional slide-out keyboard on the iPhone.

Credits go to Mat Brady and Jesus Diaz, just like the previous concepts and we’ve got to admit that the designs are pretty cool and we’d buy something like that. Is iPhone slowly turning into a modular device?

That would mean a cooperation between Apple and third parties… kind of unlikely.

iPhone Elite and iPhone Pro Fan Mockups Could Make Steve Jobs Go “Yes We Can!”

Loading ... Loading ... Imagine the most daring iPhone concept ever and a bit of HTC design in the mix… You’ll probably think of an Android device, or better, but what Mat Brady did surpasses any imagination. He created a mockup of the current iPhone, called iPhone Elite, that sports a slide out QWERTY keypad and 60 GB of internal memory.

Also, iPhone Elite features a display with true 16:9 screen ratio, allowing you to watch movies at a 640 x 360 resolution and add four more icons on the start screen. This superb concept also gets a 1 MP front facing camera, supporting video conferencing and a better camera at the back, using a 5 megapixel sensor with 3x optical zoom, 640 x 480 video capture, image stabilization, red eye reduction, timer, flash and more.

If you think that this fan mockup is “the shiz”, know that Mat Brady sent the design suggestions to Steve Jobs and claimed that he wants the resulting device as a replacement for his N95.

However, not all’s well, as the concept can be improved… Jesus Diaz proved it by fixing the keyboard and making it more “rational and compact”, also adding a direction pad and gaming buttons, in order to make the new iPhone a Nintendo DS rival.

The result? An even hotter device, named iPhone Pro, that also brings some minor aesthetic modifications to the camera at the back.

Which of the two mockups is your favorite? I’d go for the Pro…
