If you look up
Tryi Yeh’s works on our site, you’ll surely be impressed by his view of the future and the phones he designed. This time, he envisions a sliding iPod, a very neat concept that can be checked out below.

iPod slide combines the technology behind Apple’s iPod Touch and a sliding design. Notice the silver, slim and sleek body and also it’s interesting to mention the fact that the device can be controlled through thermal sensors, a premiere for Apple and most music player on the market.
Will the third gen iPod Touch look anything like this? What do you say?

We’ve let you know as soon as we stumbled upon the superb
Android G0 concept phone, created by Tryi Yeh and now the folks of Yanko Design have found a couple of new images with the handset. We notice that some of them picture the device “live”, which is the neat illusion we’re all looking for.

Android G0 comes with Google Chrome, a flexible OLED touchscreen, a camera and an LED on the back side, showing its operating status. There’s also a sliding part with multifunctional keys, ready to operate, as you as you feel the urge to play a game, watch a video, listen to music and what not.
Once again, Tryi Yeh, you did an excellent job and I would have a hard time choosing HTC Hero over this!

We’ve shown you
Tryi Yeh designs in the past, but this time we have a winner on our hands, a Google Android concept phone we like very much, due to its hot looks. Dubbed the “G0″, this phone is a strange slider, since its sliding part only uncovers the incorporated camera and a couple of multi-function keys.

The buttons revealed by the sliding mechanism will change their purpose, so they might be touch-sensitive, as for the camera, it must be pretty impressive, since it has a special spot of its own at the back of the sliding part.
Android 2.0 on board? 32GB of memory? Bluetooth 3.0? Speculations? Yes… for now.

It’s one thing to use an alcohol cell to power up a concept phone, but when the handet looks like a whisky container, thins get interesting. Designed by
Tryi Yeh, the Cheers phone is based on alcohol cell, an energy saving alternative to Li-ion batteries.

There’s a cap on top of the handset, locking the “fuel” inside and also working as a function switch. I have to say that the handset’s interface looks great and the concept phone seems to pack a full touchscreen display, that looks transparent.
Imagine all the effects that such a display can create and of course that there’s touch zoom on the feature list, for those who like taking a picture with their “alcohol phone”. Great design for drinkers and non-drinkers!

Tryi Yeh created a visually stunning concept phone, the Magnet Liteon handset, that incorporates
solar panel cells, fuelling the device and turning it into an eco-friendly gadget. What’s neat is that the Magnet Liteon comes with a big OLED display and a magnet at the back, allowing the user to change the structure of the panel.

Notice (in the images below) how the phone passes from Media mode to Game Mode and the large touchscreen display looks great, specially when used in landscape mode in a gaming session.
If I’m not mistaking, the screen part can be separated while playing games or watching movies and it can communicate wirelessly with the keypad part. A great concept phone, created by Tryi Yeh and finally a green gadget that looks decent.

While many of us are hoping and waiting for a new MacBook, maybe even an
Apple netbook to get launched this summer, together with the new iPhone, concepts are starting to surface, portraying the future of the MacBook series. This time we’re dealing with the Mac Folder, designed by Tryi Yeh and this device is a pretty hot netbook.

Mac Folder comes with a reworked UI based on the ones used on the iPod Touch and iPhone, a multi-touch screen and a very, very slim case.
I’m ready to bet that the display is something like 8.9 inches, considering the size and placement of the keys, but the netbook is surely a looker, so we hope it’ll reach production or at least Apple will borrow some of its traits.
