You may remember that some days ago we’ve shown you a liquidmetal quad core iPhone concept created by Antoine Brieux, well in fact only its metal frame. Now, the concept is back in finished form. Meet the iPhone 5 Liquidmetal unit, with a quad core Apple A6 chip and much more goodies detailed after the break.

The device uses a 4.5 inch widescreen display, a 10 megapixel camera and a virtual Home Button. There’s also an embedded SIM card and obviously the Liquidmetal case, that measures only 7.9 mm in thickness. When turned around in landscape mode, the phone’s virtual Home button is gone to make more room for video watching/gaming. I have to say that the format of this iPhone concept is very appealing, especially with the device having metallic edges and a shiny back that’s probably protected by either ceramics or liquidmetal as well.

This glossy phone is certainly the kind of evolution that Apple would offer us this fall, when the real iPhone 5 comes out. Not sure if the 8MP camera of the iPhone 4S needs any revamp, since it’s great just the way it is. This supposed iOS 6 unit would certainly be more sturdy than its predecessors, that’s for sure. What do you say? Do you want a metallic iPhone or some other material?
