No way that we’re going to see an iPhone like the one below in the following years… no way! Let’s call this a futuristic Apple handset, if you want, although this concept is called an
iPhone 5 right now. What we have right here is a device with a holographic interface and what looks like a projector.

The already classic edge to edge display and a very slim design are also in the mix, as shown in the video from our source below. Since Apple recently patented a pico projector and bought the domain applepico.com, it’s only a matter of time till we’ll see iPhones with projectors inside and capable of projecting holograms for interface.
Considering laser keyboards already exist, why not use the same technology to project a virtual keyboard outside this handset? An iPhone 5 with a pico projector is a mere dream, but what about the iPhone 6? If you were part of Apple and had to choose between implementing a 3D screen and a projector, what would you pick?

We have heard of an
iPhone nano or two, but how about we take the idea down a notch and get the iPhone Capsule? This mini iPhone is created by the same Andro Gama that brought you yesterday’s Sony Ericsson Xperia tablet. This Apple concept measures a mere 4.89 x 10.1 x 1.35 cm and weighs 87 grams.

Its specifications include a 2.4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, that’s protected against dust, fingerprints, water and scratches. There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera on board with support for video recording of up to 30 fps in VGA model. You can control the iPhone Capsule by shaking it, with features such as turning on or off music, changing the tune and volume being available through such gestures.
The handset comes with a stainless steel frame and supports 3D stereo sound provided by the headset it comes with. As far as connectivity goes, you’ve got 3G, HSDPA and WiFi, plus Bluetooth and USB. A simplified iOS is also included, as seen here and the front side of this mini iPhone really reminds me of an older Nokia model, a fashion one that belonged to the L’amour series. Does anyone else remember that?

With all of the recent iPhone 5 rumors, Apple fans forgot to check out the speculations about a tinier iPhone, the nano version. Well, now comes this concept to remind us all that such a device could actually exist We’re dealing here with a shortened iPhone 4 that got a very interesting way of input.

This device is designed by Zeki Ozek, who proposes a shorter iPhone with the ability to swipe the user’s finger for background apps. Also, fingerprints work for NFC payments and purchases in the app store. This model looks quite a bit like the iPhone 4, except for the fattie profile. Don’t expect any of these features on the iPhone 5, but maybe on the iPhone 6… who knows?!
This would make a really fine iPhone nano, or maybe a new media player from the iPod Touch series, but one with NFC support as extra.

Remember the CiccareseDesign iPhone 5 concept from a while ago? Well, together with this designer, MacRumors created a brand new mockup for a future generation of the Apple handset, with the result being shown in the pics below.

We’re dealing here with an incredibly slim handset, one that uses the already well known edge to edge display with bigger diagonal than on the iPhone 4. The Home button is also bigger now and touch-sensitive and its elongated shape may serve to let the user swipe between apps on the edges of the button.
This model is greatly inspired by the current iPod Touch, especially when it comes to the rounded shapes it includes in the design. The thickness of the smartphone is supposed to be 0.27 inches and a bit wider than the iPhone 4. Honestly, this is one of the best iPhone concepts I’ve seen, but I’m started to get tired of these iPhone 5 designs and I really want to see the real deal…

Finally a different iPhone 5 concept! I’m sick and tired of seeing everyone creating the same edge to edge screen device over and over again, with an 8MP camera, with or without a Home button and a 4 inch display… Alexei Mikhailov is original and brings us an iPhone 5 with an asymmetrical design.

This model integrates the screen very discretely and replaces the volume buttons with a + and – key, while the Home button is still there, but it’s almost invisible. The back side looks very much like the one of the iPhone 4 but the main idea of this device is that it has a more rounded side and a straight side, much like some subway passes I have seen.
The camera seems to use a dual LED flash of sorts. Imagine an iPhone 4 with an edge cut by a precision knife… Pure metal and something original at last!

The web has been abuzz with fresh images of the iPhone 5, that appear to be real and taken fron a French carrier. Now that they’ve been set straight as fake, the pics have been used to create the concept below. One of the guys at MacRumors Forum pulled this off:

This looks like a very thin handset, rumored to be 7mm in thickness, according to sources who actually saw the device. It looks a LOT like the iPhone 4, albeit a bit more rounded at the edges and maybe at the back as well. Turns out that glass will be used at the back in an attempt to gain the old school feel of the older iPhone models.
Would you buy this thinnest smartphone in the world?

If you read tech blogs, you probably know that apparently the iPhone 5 has leaked and it resembles quite a lot the design that Federico Ciccarese created below. It resembles it in such a good way that I’m scared to think this is the iPhone 5…

Some say it will be the iPhone 4S, others that it will be the 5G… But what about the iPhone Air name? That could work just fine, considering how thin this model is and how much finesse it put into the design. The teardrop shape is once again here and the rounded shapes are less present than in some other recent concepts.
The edge to edge display makes a fresh appearance and as far as the diagonal goes, I’m guessing 3.7 to 4 inches here… Once again, it looks scary real!

Remember the
iPhone 5 concept from here? Well, the designer Antoine Brieux decided to make a few modifications on this device and the result is the iPhone 5G you can see below. We remind you that the original design featured a brand new 4 inch Retina Display.

The other features are pretty standard, according to the latest rumors about the iPhone 5: 8 megapixel camera with HD capture, LED notification panel at the front and Apple A5 dual core CPU. The iPhone 5 uses a single part casing that’s made out of magnesium, for a very lightweight device and also a very study one.
This new concept is available in many vivid colors and I can’t help but think about the Nokia N9 when I look at this design (in a good way). Square main segment and rounded edges might be the key to success…

Even if you call it the iPad 2 Plus or the iPad 2 HD, the third gen iPad will most likely bring a display change. According to the latest leaks and the mockup below, the iPad 3 will sport a Retina Display, surpassing every rival when it comes to pixel density.

This mockup was done by Guilherme Schasiepen, the same guy behind this iPhone 5 mockup. We’re dealing with a tablet that’s 0.29 inch thick, features a 5 megapixel camera with full HD video capture, LED flash and a curved glass back. Upfront there’s a Facetime HD camera, ideal for making videocalls.
Maybe we’ll also get more RAM, more storage and a slight CPU bump on the new Apple slate.

How about a realistic iPhone 5 mockup this time around? I’m talking about the one below, created by Gulherme Schasiepen and featuring a 4 inch display that looks like edge to edge material, sticking to the recent rumors about the device.

New antenna locations have been adopted for the device, that’s even thinner now at a mere 0.28 inches. The sensors from the upper part of the handset are now well hidden and practically invisible, in case you’re wondering. As far as the camera goes, you get a main 8 megapixel shooter with full HD 1080p video capture and most likely a potent flash.
At the front of this iPhone 5 there’s a FaceTime HD camera and if you want rumors with your concept, know that the next-gen Apple phone is supposed to come in September in the US and October in Europe. The info comes from a Swisscom executive.
