Usually, fashion phones are labelled as good-lookers with poor features, but once in a while an exception pleases the fashionistas out there who really care about their megapixel count and internal memory. The S-series concept is designed by Simon Enever and it’s available on Coroflot and in the T3 magazine.

This slider is made from wood, brushed aluminium and steel and features a nice black acrylic wrap. It seems to include both a touchscreen and a normal keypad, plus a frontal camera for 3G calls. Aside from that, its keys are really stylish, but not really comfortable for one’s fingers, while the camera features a pretty big flash guaranteed to light your way through the fancy fashionista universe.

One of the main designers of the Sprint Fli concept I’ve shown you last week, John Sundermeyer came up with a neat-looking fashion concept phone you can admire below. It features dynamic coloured illumination plus over-sized keypad numbers to set you apart from the rest of the fashionistas in the club.

The concept phone is unofficially branded Voce, but maybe we’ll see it surfacing under some major brand someday. What do you make of it? Will it be a Sony Ericsson Walkman, an LG or maybe a Motorola?

Love wood panels? Have a TV stuffed with wood panels and you’re chopping fire wood all the time? Than you’ll love the CulArt concept designed for the fashionista and smartphone lover in you. Designed by Seungchan Lee, this concept phone is the average smartphone featuring a touchscreen, camera and … slimness.

The phone also comes with a cute remote and headset, also featuring wood paneling. Check out the back of the handset to discover its rugged nature and its tendency of staying within your grasp, thanks to the texture of the material.

It’s the trendsetter’s lucky day today, since RKS Design are at it again, introducing another good-looking concept phone, the Fli. It’s a slim device, that reminds of Motorola’s RAZR, but it packs more power and it’s even branded with Sprint’s logo. Could this be a sign of things to come?

The Fli concept phone features a camera and an MP3 player, nothing unusual so far, but it seems to be featuring a top media player and a hinge cover that you can flick in order to open it and answer a call. Hope the designers from Motorola are checking this out, so maybe they’ll get back on track.

This conceptual device, created by RKS Design is great looking and slim enough to catch a trendsetter’s eye. Notice that iPhone-ish interface on its touchscreen? The tiny antenna is old-school (in a good way), while the phone’s shape reminds me of a walkie talkie. Hmm, is it just me or does this concept resemble the good old Sony Ericsson T20 a bit?

I don’t quite understand where the name “Mimique” comes from, but my theory is this: the phone can mimic the colour of its surrounding environment. Now that would be something, wouldn’t it?
Yanko Design also wrote about this neat phone.

At first glance I thought that the phone from the image below is ugly, but some of you are easily impressed by the fact that a handset can really be made out of steel, gold, hardwood and … crocodile leather. How’s that for a fashion phone, courtesy of Bellperre?

Also, it seems that these Bellperre phones will be customized according to the customers’ preferences, you know, just like putting some extra ketchup on a burger: “can I get some extra croc skin for my rugged fingers?”. Well, the croc sure isn’t the wildest animal you’ll be touching while writing text messages, as you can choose a varied selection of leathers, from shark, to calf and buffalo.
There’s also a decent choice of casings and you might go for the cool aircraft aluminium or the luxurious 18k rose gold. Adorn those with engravings and special finishes and you’ve got a worthy Vertu rival. The Bellperre phones are hand built in Netherlands and they’ll be available in Europe in June 2008 at an unannounced price.

Feeling trendy? There’s a new concept phone in town, ideal for the fashionista in you and it’s called the Edge phone. Don’t mistake it for the connectivity type as it’s only a name coincidence. The Edge was designed by Chris Owens and it will surely draw people’s attention towards you, if it ever comes out (and you have one).

The device features a glass keyboard that can be slided in order to answer an incoming call. Edge also features an LED, that illuminates the keypad numbers/characters with the aid of refraction, adding a special glow to them. It’s a cool design we’re dealing with and a nice cellphone that anyone who loved the famous LG Prada Phone would surely adore.
