Loading ... Loading ... Jozef Kocúr is ready to design a new XPERIA concept, the Renovatio, that he recently teased in the following image. The designer considers this the successor of the XPERIA Pureness, but with a “purer design and more functions”.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Renovatio Design Gets Teased

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Renovatio looks pretty elegant, it probably comes with a touchscreen display, a decent camera at the back and maybe Android, although Windows Mobile would be OK, too. Jozef Kocúr promised to share more details soon.

[Thanks Jozef]

Loading ... Loading ... Esato board member RKSynth strikes again, this time with a Sony Ericsson Android phone, with a classic design. The device is known as SE Xytozo and it comes with 3G support, Bluetooth, GPS, a camera at the back and probably a bunch more features making it a great mid-end device.

Sony Ericsson Irikino (Yanq XL) Tablet Concept Looks Great

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (12 votes, average: 4.42 out of 5)

Loading ... Loading ... How about a Sony Ericsson tablet? We’ve seen practically any PC and handset maker getting into the tablet game, so it’s no surprise to also see SE a part of this. However, the Sony Ericsson Irikino (Yanq XL) tablet concept is not created by the handset maker, but rather by the Esato board member Jozef Kocúr.

Notice that the device runs Skype, uses Internet Explorer, productivity tools and a cool interface. We’re really wondering if it runs Vista or Windows 7, although we’d also imagine it using Android OS or Chrome OS.

How about this design? Do you see it happening?

Loading ... Loading ... Jozef Kocúr created a pretty interesting bunch of Sony Ericsson designs, Windows Mobile handsets from a series the designer called Yanq. We’ve seen a teaser of the latest device in the series, previously called Project Two, now known as Yanq 4G and pictured below:

Jozef Kocúr claims he’ll publish more of these shots of the Yanq 4G concept, a smartphone with a large touchscreen display and a camera at the back, complete with flash. This Windows Mobile device also comes with an optical trackpad beneath the screen and probably some pretty cool specifications. What do you think about it?

Loading ... Loading ... Esato board user Remort1 recently published a teaser image for his next work, the first (we think) Sony Ericsson eco-friendly concept phone, from the GreenHeart series. The image doesn’t tell much, except for the fact that the device will sport a huge display and protect Mother Nature.

What name you give such a device considering that SE’s latest green device is called Aspen?

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (12 votes, average: 3.08 out of 5)

Loading ... Loading ... It’s been a while since we’ve seen a Sony Ericsson concept with cool gaming features, but fortunately Esato board newcomer zimB created something close to our expectations. The device is called Sony Ericsson U11 Mako and it’s pictured below.

Sony Ericsson U11 Mako Supports HD Playback, Gaming Features

This multimedia-oriented phone is able to play HD movies on its 3.5 inch screen, it supports gaming on a WVGA 800 x 480 pixel resolution and it also packs a 3.5mm audio jack. There’s also a Mozilla browser on board and an 8.1 megapixel camera at the back.

The interface is highly customizable, thanks to an interface manager that will allow you to choose what to chance in the UI. What do you say? Is this new Esato member’s idea good?

Sony Ericsson 3G is All About Touchscreen and Handwriting/ Symbol Recognition

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (9 votes, average: 3.89 out of 5)

Loading ... Loading ... Sonny Lim, a designer from Singapore has created a pretty interesting Sony Ericsson concept phone, dubbed the 3G, that’s based on a simplistic method of communication. Sony Ericsson 3G uses its large touchscreen display, allowing the users to draw symbols and write text and numbers with the thumb on a nine-dot matrix.

Sony Ericsson 3G is All About Touchscreen and Handwriting/ Symbol Recognition

It’s like children’s finger-painting and the basic idea behind the handset is user-friendliness and the resemblance to natural writing. Also, it turns out that drawing a character is faster and easier to do than searching for a letter on a tiny keyboard. This visual input method is very useful, specially for people who don’t use English language.

We’ve also got to admit that the phone looks pretty hot and sci-fi, specially with that greenish color.

Sony Ericsson Robyn/ Robin Concept, Designed by FlamEmo

Wednesday, January 27th, 2010

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (13 votes, average: 3.77 out of 5)

Loading ... Loading ... I could have sworn that I’ve heard the name Sony Ericsson Robyn before and a little bit of snooping on the web revealed that this handset is supposed to be the “mini” version of the XPERIA X10. Esato board user FlamEmo shows us his own vision of the device, a concept dubbed either Sony Ericsson Robin or Robyn.

Sony Ericsson Robyn/ Robin Concept, Designed by FlamEmo

This is touchscreen handset, based either on Symbian or Android and we’re wondering if it’s got a sliding keyboard underneath the display, or if it only relies on the virtual keypad. Last time we saw this device, it was about half the size of an iPhone and now we stop and wonder: how small is this XPERIA X10 Mini, really?

New Sony Ericsson Design, Project Two Looks Promising

Sunday, January 24th, 2010

1 Star2 Stars3 Stars4 Stars5 Stars (16 votes, average: 4.13 out of 5)

Loading ... Loading ... As we expect Sony Ericsson to show their financial report officially and deliver the bad (or worse) news, we’ve come across a teaser of an upcoming design bearing the SE logo. The concept device pictured below was made by Esato board member Jozef Kocúr and it seems to be a future XPERIA model.

New Sony Ericsson Design, Project Two Looks Promising

As far as I can tell, the smartphone bearing the name “Project Two” runs Windows Mobile, maybe WM 7 and the device is incredibly thin. There’s certainly a powerful processor inside, the likes of Snapdragon or so, but we’ll leave the rest up to the designer. This teaser shows promise, that’s for sure.
