They would be live pics if the phone were real and not only an extremely well done concept designed by tob!s from Esato, although some of the members of that board might disagree. The device is the new definition of glossy and its form factor resembles the iPhone quite a lot, although the XPERIA X3 is a tad longer.

I couldn’t help noticing that one of the photos of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 concept posted on Esato was named “LG Renoir”… Could any of the photos above and below use Renoir as their Photoshopped “muse”? I’m just guessing here, so don’t throw stones…

The Esato concept phones of 2009 thread is more productive than ever and J. Havrlant is at it again, designing this beautiful Sony Ericsson P912 phone. I see a device with a beautiful touchscreen coupled with a form factor that will make movie viewing great and I can suppose that the screen’s resolution is good enough to rival the one of HTC Touch HD.

Of all the things I could love about the P912, what draws my attention are the call/end call buttons from the bottom part… Simply great!

Leave the rugged look of this device aside and have a look at its touchscreen! This Sony Ericsson Windows Mobile concept phone is quite neat-looking, but I have an objection: it seems to end too sudden with the bottom part, as it has no edge. Could it be that the screen also continues on the phone’s lower side?

The design belongs to Weiting Chen and I must mention that I really dig the screen at the back, with its photographing purpose. Aah, now I get it! The display continues all the way to the camera and is in fact on curved screen. Interesting…

XPERIA Sora was yesterday’s hit, created by Razec and published on Esato, but now this concept phone reveals more than meets the eye and earns itself more praise than simply the tag of “mid-end XPERIA”. It comes with the famous panel-based interface, a multimedia/web mode, Windows Mobile 7 and a 1 GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 CPU at its core.

If you thought that XPERIA Sora was all about hot specs, guess again, as the camera on its back is impressive as well. We’re dealing with a 12 megapixels Exmor CMOS sensor that may be more real than we think. Great job Razec, once again!

Yet another Sony Ericsson XPERIA concept phone has surfaced, courtesy of Razec from Esato, this time in the 2009 SE phones thread. It’s much the same as the previous designs, except for the fact that the display is smaller. This can mean only one thing: this is the “dumbed down” version of the phone or the “poor man’s XPERIA”, if you dare to call it that.
How ’bout a mid-end XPERIA? Some people really dislike that $800 price tag of the X1…

XPERIA X2 concepts were featured on this site at least two times before, but now we’re dealing with a fine piece of work, too hot to be ignored. It’s all about the colors, the Photoshop work and that neat interface. These are really cool color dripping effects, so give the creator of this work, hydro from Esato a big “thumbs up”.

When we’re hungry for fresh technology and new designs what community do we visit? The Esato board, where usually we find a bunch of talented people who are willing to design future and gorgeous Sony Ericsson handsets just out of pure passion. Now, there’s a Sony Ericsson 2009 Concepts thread open, so we’re in for some fresh devices.
We break the ice with none other than J. Havrlant, who designed the Retro P902 concept shown below and the beautiful Sony Ericsson W905 handset from two days ago.

Although Sony Ericsson has just launched the W705 handset, we’re more interested in the W905 handset that has just hit our virtual world of concepts, courtesy of J. Havrlant. And what a music phone this is… 480 x 800 pixels display, Walkman v4.0, 16GB internal memory, A300 platform and tons of other specs you’ll find out after the break.

Sony Ericsson W905 supports Wi-Fi b/g, GPS, HSDPA, HSUPA, Bluetooth 2.1 and incorporates loud stereo speakers, a 3.5mm jack and TV out for those of you telly addicts. The 5 megapixel camera with autofocus is the least we’d expect from SE right now, but know that it also comes with an LED flash and VGA video recording. I guess that this would be the XpressMusic series killer, if it were real…

Although this is a concept phone more than everything else, it tends to act like an MP3 player rather than a handset. Notice the minimalist looks of this Sony Less is More design, but maybe you’ve got the point by reading its name… There’s a hole at the bottom of the device, which can be used for system navigation or as a simple keychain.

The features of the Less is More concept are quite basic: voice recording, microphone, memory card slot, OLED display, a decent speaker and IRDA support. I still can’t quite figure out where the display is…
