Remort1 is a fresh name among the designers on the Esato board, but his creation is pretty decent: the
Sony Ericsson iIMPERIA concept. This touchscreen phone is both a music handset and a cool cameraphone, as it sports an 8.1 megapixel camera at the back with flash, autofocus and video recording (we suppose).

Beneath the screen you’ll notice a couple of keys, among which there’s a Home button, a Call and Reject Call button, plus another 2 keys for menu features. I wonder if this is an Android handset or a Symbian one, considering Sony Ericsson’s latest preferences.
I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a fresh XPERIA device, specially due to the name resemblance and we look forward to seeing more projects from designer Remort1.

We’ve shown you the teaser of the
Sony Ericsson Impersa concept phone a couple of days ago and now we’ve finally managed to see the finalized project. If you’re worried that two pics are too little for such a hot 12.1 megapixel cameraphone, don’t fret, as designer Shane A. Bygrave has got more shots coming.

Impersa is a Sony Ericsson cameraphone, part of the Cyber-shot series and supporting 3x optical zoom. The handset supports photoblogging, MMS, email and packs a 4.1 inch AMOLED capacitive multi-touch display. This touchscreen supports 800 x 1200 pixels resolution and comes with 720p HD video recording at 30 fps.
The concept phone is also called Impersa HD and it weighs 124 grams, plus it measures 113 x 58 x 17mm. The device runs on Android Open Source OS and uses a 1 GHz Snapdragon processor, supports 4G connectivity, UMTS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, USB, aGPS and GPS.
This cameraphone’s specs list also includes 512MB RAM, 1GB ROM, 4GB of internal memory and a microSD card slot with support for memory expansion of up to 120GB.

Esato board member Shane A. Bygrave is getting ready to unveil a new
Sony Ericsson concept phone, dubbed the Impersa. This handset seems to be a slider, if we’re not mistaking and all we’ve got right now are our speculations and a teaser of the phone.

We can spot a camera at the back and probably a Xenon flash, but there’s a bulky thingie at the top of the sliding mechanism which might as well be a very impressive camera sensor or some cool gaming accessory. All of these may be dispelled in a few hours, but boy, we like to speculate!

What do you do when you have a mysterious
Sony Ericsson concept on your hands? You speculate… That’s what we can do regarding Esato board user DarKMaGiCiaN’s SE concept pictured below. This full touchscreen handset might remind some of you of the K750 model, with a twist.

I don’t know why, but there’s something that screams “Android” about this phone… and 8GB internal memory… and an 8 MP camera… am I hearing things?

This is probably the best poster for a concept phone I’ve seen lately… Esato board user tob!s created the very nice 12 megapixel cameraphone
Sony Ericsson Camari. The handset also comes with a Walkman Player, Clearbass technology and a very cool landscape full touchscreen display.

The 12 megapixel camera supports autofocus and that’s about all we know about this Sony Ericsson concept phone. Too bad that Miley Cyrus appears on the screen and not some other more talented artist and all in all, if you want a comparison, the handset looks like a futuristic car stereo.
We’re sure that more pics of Camari are coming and we can’t wait for them.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 will hit the market in February 2010, if all goes well and this device is a premiere: the first Sony Ericsson Android phone. Till we get to see the real device in action, we’ve got a couple of 3D renders of the handset, available below.

XPERIA X3, also known as Rachael and sporting an interface (or concept) pictured here is a very hot Android smartphone, that packs a 4 inch touchscreen display with a huge resolution. There’s also a 1GHz Snapdragon CPU on board and an 8 megapixel camera at the back, plus a 3.5mm headset jack.
We’ll see if the real device looks as good as these renders, that once again confirm the fact that the phone will be available in both black and white.

Esato board user razec has surpassed himself yet again and you are certainly familiar with the
XPERIA Candela concept phone. Well, now it has been finalized, so you can check it out below and there’s an impressive specs list to have a look at, as well.

Razec’s splendid XPERIA Candela concept packs a capacitive touchscreen display, a 12 megapixel CCD camera with 720p HD video capture and the ability to record videos at 300 FPS. This handset also comes with BRAVIA technology, since it’s the first phone to incorporate a RGB LED display taken directly from the BRAVIA TVs.
This screen sports a 1,000,000: 1 contrast ratio and a 852 x 480 pixels resolution @ 16:9. Android 2.0 OS runs the show on the device, in its fully customized version and in case you’re wondering, there’s no physical keyboard on this device, but rather a virtual one, thanks to another capacitive display.

Said secondary capacitive display will play the role of a keyboard, jotter, music player buttons and a virtual game pad. It also comes with handwriting recognition, a math calculator and a magnetic stylus. Sony Ericsson XPERIA Candela even supports Photoshop, thanks to an AMD Z430 graphics core, while gaming is handled with the aid of a Snapdragon processor, that supports 22M T/sec and 136M Pix/s, for a PlayStation-like experience.
As if these specs weren’t enough, the list is completed by a magnesium arc slider design, HSUPA 2100 MHz/ WiMAX 802.16e connectivity, a Jukebox mode, 384MB DDR SDRAM, 512MB ROM, 16/32GB internal memory and a 1500 mAh Lithium Polymer battery. I am officially in love with this phone and frankly it’s hard to believe that we’ll see a more attractive XPERIA concept in 2009.

I could have waited for a couple of days, to see if razec’s
Sony Ericsson XPERIA Candela concept “live” picture fools any major gadget blog, but this image is too hot to be ignored. We’re dealing with a mockup of the XPERIA design we’ve shown you previously, a very, very good Photoshop job.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the Sony Ericsson Candela phone become real, but I doubt that SE will please the talented Esato board member. In this case, what can we do? All of us, futuristic device fans and industrial design freaks will have to unite into a single community, get in touch with developers and maybe some day, a minor phone manufacturer will approach the community and release the device…
Is open source production the way to go?
