 Loading ... Many handsets have remote control functionality these days, but on rare occasions they get to control more than your TV or DVD player. The 1 concept was designed by Michael DiTullo and can easily replace ANY portable device you can imagine.

It takes calls, plays music and movies, allows you to access the web, check your email, view photo albums and get directions.

We don’t know if “The 1″ can be used as a console, but what we do know is that the portable gizmo can control your house (lighting, temperature, security), car and any compatible in-house/in-car device. The price? A pretty high one, I guess… if it becomes a real gadget.
