“8” Mobile Device Features Two Flipping Touchscreens

 Loading ... After seeing the Pantech Flame phone-frame concept, there’s another similar gadget to check out, the “8” handheld communication device, designed by Kyung-Ryul Lim and Miyeon Kim. The “8″ features two flip-up touch displays and comes with video features, incorporates a phone and electronic dictionary.

The portable device seems a tad too long for something that theoretically should fit in your pocket, while the whole idea of having the screen show what you type near the virtual keyboard you’re using kind of sounds like a way to cross the user’s eyes.

Last thing, won’t these displays run loose after flipping out for months?
