HP Shark is a WebOS 3.0 Phone Concept, With Beats By Dre Technology

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Here’s another piece of work from designer Terillo Walls, who shows us the HP Shark concept phone, running WebOS 3.0 and using the Beats by Dre audio technology. There’s also a 4 inch display on board, support for 4G radio and four corner speakers.

These four corner speakers remind me of the supposed design of the Nokia X7, that’s still a mystery to this day. Imagine the power of these speakers, with the input provided by the famous Dr. Dre. The device looks pretty thin and nifty enough to make it an iPhone 5 rival and finally make a name for HP on the smartphone market.

Chromium Tablet Should be Made by HP and Wacom

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Designer Yigit Cinar is so serious about the tablet concept shown below, that we even mentioned the companies that should be involved in the making process: Wacom (touchpad), HP (hardware) and Google (Chromium). Cinar created this tablet design using Autodesk Maya, Adobe Photoshop and Macromedia Flash.

The slate comes with multiple USB ports, a HDMI port and a removable battery. There’s also an interesting part of this device: a removable hand mobile with a 2.3 inch color display that can be carried around by the user and turned into an MP3 player or tablet remote control.

Also included on the specifications list are the following:

- two cameras: 2MP forward cam, rear facing 5MP unit with autofocus
- an accelerometer and magnetometer
- 3GB RAM, 120GB storage
- 4G cellular voice, data, MMS, SMS
- GPS, FM radio, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
- sturdy case
- 16:9 1920 x 1080 capacitive touchscreen, 14 inches in diagonal

HP WebOS Tablet Very Likely, We Have Render

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.As HP’s CEO, Mark Hurd confirmed that we’ll be seeing a WebOS tablet made by his company, we’ve come across the following render of the device, posted on the interwebs. If the author of this design would be kind enough to mention who he is, it will be great, but till then we remind you about the HP-Palm buyout from a few weeks ago.

Last we heard, HP was cancelling the Slate tablet project, in order to focus on integrating Palm in its business. It would be great to get Palm’s neat platform on a HP tablet, but we hope it’ll happen before the iPad dominates the market.

HP Mscape Takes Handheld Gaming to a New Level

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.While looking for brand new portable concept devices, that have become rather scarce lately, I stumbled upon a great HP prototype, the Mscape, an “augmented reality gaming handheld”. This gaming system allows the user to integrate gaming and interactive gameplay elements into real life, as if the whole world was your playground.

In case this sounds confusing, imagine having to walk down the street, while dodging and hitting the enemies you see on screen, which are placed in the real world setting captured on the device’s display. Things will get more clear once you check out the HP Mscape presentation video below:

HP iPAQ Phone PDA, Designed By Michael Laut

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.This HP iPAQ concept PDA phone may already be on the market for all we know, but its design has somewhat of an unique rugged look, thanks to the rubber margins. It also feels like it was designed for gaming, although it’s clearly created for productivity. Of course, we get some Windows Mobile action, Office Mobile is included and the internal memory is at least 100MB.

Bluetooth and WiFi are also on the specs list, plus a neat navigational mechanism and some pretty cool speakers.
