An Engadget Mobile reader recently received a Verizon survey that mentioned a very interesting mobile phone. The device features a 3 inch touchscreen display and detachable modules, like a keyboard, game pad, stereo speaker and a Wi-Fi module for Internet browsing.

Speculations claim that this might as well be the VX9600, created by LG, for which Verizon took into account a couple of more exotic names like “Phenom”, “Clip” or “Versa”.

This unique device is a hypothetical one, according to the survey, but we know there’s no such thing on the mobile market nowadays. Latest of rumours regarding the mystery device? A November launch date… How about that?
