Nokia EC509 Green Core, an Eco-Friendly Phone Designed by Matteo Trisolini

 Loading ... Nokia’s more busy with real handsets these days, than with concepts, but we’re glad to have stumbled upon such a design, created by Matteo Trisolini. He made the EC509 Green Core phone for Nokia, as an eco-friendly device, that comes with a PRT packaging carton, that can be re-used in order to send back the handset to its manufacturer for service.

Nokia EC509 relies on kinetic energy for powering it up and, as you can see, it features a hole, used to spin and charge the phone, without even requiring a battery. This is a sustainable mobile phone, also featuring a recycled PET display cover, LED battery indicators and rubberised areas.
