It’s been a while since we last saw one of Edgar Mkrtchyan’s Nokia concepts, but he’s back, this time with an 8 inch Lumia phablet. The device is actually dating back several months, but it was only recently finished by the designer.

It runs Windows 8.1 and it packs a special keyboard, that’s optimized to be used with both hands. Its screen measures 8 inches in diagonal and the device comes with a fingerprint scanner and a stylus with various types of pressure. The Nokia Lumia Phablet uses a rear polycarbonate shell and it’s available in a variety of vivid colors, like cyan, yellow, red or black.

The rest of the case is all aluminum and without color changes. This Nokia phablet incorporates a 13 megapixel Pureview camera with dual LED flash and upfront there’s a 3 MP shooter. The screen is an 8 incher with Full HD resolution, a curved design and Gorilla Glass protection. Inside the device we find a 6000 mAh battery, good enough for two days of use.

There’s a Tegra 5 or Snapdragon 800 CPU inside and 64 or 128 GB of storage. There will be another post about this model, with a video and more design insights!
