Edward Brown introduces the devices he designs as “phones for the immediate and not too distant future”. One of them is the Windows Mobile handset below, in fact an ultra slim Ultra Mobile PC/phone. It’s got a scratch resistant polymer and stainless steel casing and uses a touch based interface.

The list of features of this concept phone also includes a high resolution OLED screen and high resolution video and stills cameras. I wonder what chipset is running the show behind the case… And what about the internal memory? We’ll let the mystery be, at least till there’s a trace of branding on the UMPC/phone’s front side.

Io Design sees the future of LG Electronics’ mobile phones taking the shape of the device pictured below. The Recall concept features a flexible hinge, and OLED display and a curved profile that can make any Motorola phone jealous. This slim device uses an uncoventional hinge, staying open after being flipped, just like a measuring tape.

The Motorolafans have another goodie for all of you concept phone fans and this one’s called MOTOSHOT L11. It’s a concept device, designed by ravefolk and based on the L series and the ROKR E6, running Linux. L11 features a half QWERTY keypad and a 2.6 inch OLED touchscreen display (32 bit color – 16 million colors). Its camera is a 5.0MP beauty CCD with autofocus, macro and OCR, while the phone’s specs also include a full media player, stereo speakers with A2DP and FM-RDS radio. MOTOSHOT L11 supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and you might be wondering what’s David Beckham doing in the background of the image above. Trust me, I don’t know either…
