Samsung Galaxy Aurora, Futuristic Galaxy S IV Alternative?

He teased you all a couple of days ago and now it’s time to unveil… the Samsung Galaxy Aurora. The project is not done, since he plans to mix Android 5.0 in this piece of work and some modular stuff.

A follow-up project is also coming. As far as the Samsung Galaxy Aurora is concerned sees when you’re resting your eyes and goes into auto sleep mode. It also comes with a reliable assistant, the S Voice function that works beautifully. The handset will also “know” you’re at the movies and silence itself automatically. Its screen is heat resistant and the new Galaxy model packs a rotating 12 megapixel camera, available for all the angles of stunning photos you can imagine.

There’s also a holographic 3D function, that’s showcased in the last image below and it looks like a real battery drainer this one. Galaxy Aurora knows your touch by the heat you emanate and finally here are some more features to feast on: quad core 2 GHz processor, wireless router chip build in, 4G connectivity, 35 mAh rechargeable battery (does he mean 3500 mAh?) with 20-22 hours of talk time. To me this model looks like a combo between the Nokia N9 and a more rectangular Samsung Galaxy Nexus, if you want. What do you say?

Preview of the “Biggest Phone Concept Ever”, by Alexander Black

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.When someone promises you “one of the biggest concepts ever”, you’re certainly excited to see what’s coming. We’ve just received an email from Alexander Black, teasing us with a fresh phone design, that appears to be linked in some way to a Galaxy S model, according to the name of the picture below.

The teaser will turn into a real device on May 10th, but till then I want your theories on this image and what it might end up being. I can see there’s a camera in there and in the background there’s something shaped like the Nokia N9, if I’m not mistaking. Anyway, it’s a nicely crafted teaser, since it doesn’t give away much and increases the suspense. After the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S III on May 3rd, I could surely use a breath of fresh and a good design, since the Galaxy S3 was a disappointment for me.

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Many people were disappointed by the Galaxy S III, but that doesn’t mean that Samsung can’t come up with some interesting designs. Or at least people can imagine they will… like Tolu Falope did, when he created the following Samsung concept smartphone, running Android 4.0 ICS and packing those trademark 3 capacitive buttons at the bottom.

The device looks like a combo between the design of a new generation of Sony Xperia phone and its back is very similar to the one of the HTC One X and One S. There’s also a very interesting browser in one of the pics and if I’m not mistaking I saw the real thing on teh ASUS Eee Slider tablet, as the standard web browser with those touch options. This is a very thin phone, with curved upper and lower edges, a plasticky look and metallic edges. I imagine it packs a quad core processor, 12 megapixel camera and 1080p display.

Also the diagonal should be around 4.7 inches or so, keeping with the modern smartphone standards. The device is certainly interesting and it would make a good new Nexus Phone, especially with the long body and bright display, plus original form factor (curved edges and very, very thin case). I wish this was the real Samsung Galaxy S III, to be honest. What do you think this handset is lacking and what do you want on it?

Samsung Galaxy S III Render Might be the Real Last One

It appears that Samsung is preparing to unveil the real thing in the following hours through some special teaser website that you can see right here. Well, till then let’s check out this pretty render:

This Galaxy S3 packs a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus 1280 x 720 display that’s also an edge to edge unit, as shown here. Notice the metallic bezels and the form factor at the back of the phone that reminds me a bit of the Galaxy Nexus. The device looks very hot, it features those 3 capacitive buttons for Android 4.0 and the designer claims we also get a 1.5GHz quad core CPU on this model, 2GB of RAM and a 12 megapixel camera. I like the back of this concept smartphone very much and I really wonder what the material imagined here is.

Could it be ceramic, as I’ve heard that Samsung would use that material? HTC tried with ceramic on the One S models and it didn’t work out so well, since it tends to crack, chip and scratch easily…

Samsung Galaxy S III Render by Bob Freking, Possibly the Very Last One

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.May 3rd is when the Samsung Galaxy S III will be launched, since the invites were already sent out and till then we have the last renders of the latest Samsung flagship to look at. The press invite included some blue and white brushed elements that inspired Bob Freking’s Galaxy S3 concept, the one shown below:

As you can see, the device is longer than any previous Galaxy model, probably in order to accommodate a bigger 4.7 or 4.8 inch display, as rumored. There’s also that trademark wide Home button, a front camera and a 12 megapixel camera at the back. Not so sure about the inclusion of a ceramic case, as rumors said. My only hope here is that the Samsung Galaxy S III will end up being a thin and not so wide device, so I wouldn’t want it to break any pockets.

Anyway you may want to know that another recent rumor said that we should expect the Samsung Galaxy S3 to have a 1080p display, quad core Exynos processor and possibly 2GB of RAM. Are we prepared for that? I mean only some months ago we saw the first 720p phone and we’re already skipping to 1080p?

Now he has a fresh concept for us, the Galaxy Nexus Black S, a beautiful render that shows us how the future of Google phone flagships may look like.

It’s a pretty wide device, that packs a big 4.9 inch Super AMOLED+ display with 720p resolution and runs Android 4.0 ICS. It weighs 153 grams, measures 8.43 mm in thickness and also offers HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, 32/64GB of storage, plus a 2050 mAh battery. The brain of the Galaxy Nexus Black S is a 1.4 GHz quad core processor, maybe an Exynos, maybe a future Snapdragon from Qualcomm. NFC, an accelerometer and a buttonless design fill in the blanks here, as well as 1.5GB of RAM, a plunge that no company has dared to make on the memory side so far.

The case is all aluminium unibody and you’ve got a virtual SIM card with PC adaptor included (not sure what that means). There’s a 12 megapixel camera at the back with continuous autofocus and a 3.2MP sensor upfront for videocalls. The standard 3 capacitive buttons are placed below the display and the case is slightly curved, just like the Galaxy Nexus unit from 2011. The side area of the handset reminds me a bit of the Xperia Play, if I may say so. It’s got a great metallic look that everyone will love.

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.The most prolific designer we’ve had on this website for years, Bob Freking recently read a piece on Phone Arena about the upcoming Samsung Espresso 10 and Espresso 7 tablets, that are supposed to launch in June. He then proceeded to design a bunch of renders to fit the newcomers. You can check them out below:

Bob wants Samsung to “battle in the high end segment” and not be happy with the lower end one. He imagines an Exynos 5 A15 processor will be on board, as well as an improved camera, to finally get rid of all those poor 3MP sensors on the latest Sammy slates. The designer wants an 8 megapixel camera this time, the same sensor on the Galaxy S II, plus a case that’s as thick as the one of the Galaxy Tab series and Android 4.0 ICS as a must have feature. Expandable storage, 4G LTE and 3G are also available.

Bob pictures the Samsung Espresso 10 and Espresso 7 as having a 2560 x 1440 resolution, that beats the one on the iPad 3 and gives the tablets a 290 ppi status. Finally, the designs came with some prices associated, such as a minimum of $399 for the 10.1 inch Espresso tablet with 16GB of storage and WiFi. Add to that 3G and the price goes to $449, add 4G and it’s $499. The 7 incher 16GB Espresso goes for $299, but once again these are merely speculations!

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 – Here’s How It Could Look + Specs

This concept involves a next generation Exynos chip, apparently and Bob also mentioned that this device will be introduced months after the Galaxy S III, so we’re in for a long wait. Getting one?

Seeing that the original Galaxy Note already has 5 million units sold, we’re dealing with a popular 5.3 inch device that deserves a successor. Said successor might be the Galaxy Note 2, that Bob sees as yet another 5.3 inch smartablet, with a Super AMOLED HD II screen, a 2GHz Samsung Exynos 5 dual core CPU, a case that’s 8mm thin and 2 GB of RAM. At the back we should find a 12 megapixel camera and look at the design I realize that this is actually an edge to edge handset.

32GB of storage, plus 64GB more via microSD are also added. I expect this baby to run Android 5.0 Jellybean without problems, but it might not be launched with it. Seeing that the Galaxy Note launched in the USA not so long ago, I’d give the first product time before launching a follow-up…

Samsung Galaxy S III New “Press Render” Looks Reaaally Thin!

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Bob Freking was unhappy with the recently leaked Samsung Galaxy S III press render, so he took it and modified it a bit, with the result being the render below. Now that’s what I call good rendering! You can see that nifty Home button, a speaker grille at the top and one at the bottom, a design decision I can’t quite understand to be honest.

The design is very, very slim and the camera sensor doesn’t bulk out like on the Galaxy S II, which is a good thing. The display may not look like edge to edge material, but it’s big enough and close enough to the bezel to make the handset look even more appealing. The latest development in the series of rumors about the new Galaxy S is that a guy at Samsung said that the new device will use a quad core Exynos chipset with integrated LTE chips as well.

This means that Samsung keeps the production of the connectivity chips in house and doesn’t rely on Qualcomm this time. Other rumors talk about a 4.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD screen, 2 GB of RAM and a 12 megapixel camera. Supposedly you’ll be able to buy the Samsung Galaxy S III from June…

Bunch of New Samsung Galaxy S III Renders + Supposed Press Image and Launch Date

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Over the past two days we’ve shown you some of the best Samsung Galaxy S III renders out there and today we also have two more, from the same Hafizoff that created the concept you liked so much two days ago. Also, as a bonus at the end of the article you’ll be able to see a press image that leaked on the web just hours ago, together with the info that the Samsung Galaxy S III will be launching on May 22nd.

Rumors say that the event will take place in London, under the Samsung Unpacked branding, that shouldn’t surprise anyone, frankly. As far as these concepts go, one of them adopts the long and wide look, plus it adds a 12 megapixel camera in the mix, while the other one is wider and makes me think of the Galaxy Note for some reason. Both units have Android 4.0 capacitive keys below the display and adopt edge to edge screens. I have to remind you that the rumors say the new Galaxy S will pack a 4.8 inch 720p display, quad core Exynos CPU, 1GB of RAM and an 8 or 12 megapixel camera.

As far as the last pic goes, the device seems to have a very thin bezel, making this an edge to edge handset and I really love that metallic area around the entire handset. The interface also looks nice and surprisingly enough there’s even a camera button in the mix. There’s a name in this pic, Weber Shandwick, a PR company that worked with Samsung in the past and now will help them organize Samsung Unpacked 2012 for the Galaxy S III launch. Of course, this could be a render and a rumor…
