Since we’ve got a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition, why not have a 2014 model for the Galaxy Note 8.0 as well? This render was created by Ancel Lim, who did a fine job imagining this new 8 inch tablet.

I have to say that it’s a mystery to me why the Galaxy Note 8.0 never sold, since on paper it sounded like a very good and affordable device. Anyway, you should know that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 2014 Edition will come with WiFi and LTE versions, a 1280 x 800 pixel display, although frankly I was expecting more pixels and Android 4.3 as the OS.

The CPU here will be the Exynos 5 Octa and the device will be available in black and white. The tablet concept follows the same design patterns as the Galaxy Note 3 and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014. This probably means leather imitation back and stitching, plus a more rectangular approach. I wish they would get rid of the Home button…

When does the Galaxy Note 8.0 2014 come out to Australia.

  • I hope the battery life is greatly improved over the original Note 8. I have the LTE version (imported from HK) and the battery life is on par with modern typical quad core smart phones, that is to say less than a day of average use. Tiny bit flakey here and there but already an iPad mini killer for me with the pen (which I didn’t think I’d use) and the option for having two apps on the screen at the same time. That later feature is so useful.

It’s been a long time since this slate is announced but until now it srill doesn’t appear. When does it come to the market? Especially in Indonesia. I’m waiting for it.
