New Taste of Windows Phone 7 Interface, Courtesy of Jozef Kocúr

This concept UI is more about customizing the already known aspects of the OS, by adding them what would be needed on a future XPERIA smartphone. More ideas like this can be found here.

XPERIA XTab, Smartphone Concept Becomes a Tablet

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Esato board user juris15 created a bunch of fine XPERIA concepts lately and now he turns to the tablet segment, creating the XPERIA XTab device. The slate is not big enough to be called a true tablet, but it’s in the range of the Dell Streak and other similar products. As you can see, it sports a sliding QWERTY keyboard and an incredibly slim design.

I’m not so sure about the tablet’s front side, as it doesn’t look that convincing, specially with the front buttons looking like they were drawn in a hurry. Also, the colour choice could have been different. With some minor facade modifications this Sony Ericsson tablet could be worth a shot.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA XTX1 Pro Adds a QWERTY Keyboard to the Original Design

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Esato board user juris15 decided to add something extra to his XPERIA XTX1 concept phone, so he created a Pro version, that sports a QWERTY keyboard. The device still packs a 12 megapixel camera, accompanied by flash, HD video capture and, if we’re not mistaking, modified front keys beneath the screen.

The display on the XTX1 Pro looks great and it’s got to be at least 3.7 inches in diagonal. The XPERIA also comes with a front camera and it sliding keyboard looks pretty usable, although it’s strange that the screen part is smaller than the keyboard part.

We wonder how the screen segment looks like when using the camera and sliding this part…

Note: There is a rating embedded within this post, please visit this post to rate it.Pairing up the XPERIA brand with a 12 megapixel camera and changing the front buttons on the smartphone is a bold move, but Esato board user juris15 wasn’t afraid to pull it off. The result? The XPERIA XTX1 concept, that you can check out in the following images.

The Sony Ericsson design shows a handset with a front camera, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 12.25 megapixel camera with an Exmor sensor and support for HD video capture. HDMI out is also on board and we have to mention that the designer doesn’t quite like the front buttons, so if you’ve got suggestions, feel free to post them in the comments section.

Notice the changes in the homescreen, the Aero integration, the simple status bar, a new Music plus Video tile and original user themes. Would Microsoft accept such a high degree of customization?

This device features a large touch display, the great Walkman music player, touch keys beneath the display and possibly all the memory one will need to save discographies. Sony Ericsson Earth, Animo and Uniq Sketches Bring Joy to the SE Lineup

Such can be seen in the following Sony Ericsson cellphones, sent to us by someone known as Andro Gama. The new models are Sony Ericsson Earth, Animo, Uniq and Uniq Secreita, all of them pictured below and all of them concepts, for now.

Sony Ericsson Earth is an eco-friendly device, sporting a 3.2 megapixel camera, a touch display and possibly some apps for monitoring carbon emissions, plus a pedometer and other green software. Next up is the Sony Ericsson Animo, pictured below and looking extremely happy and childish, as shown by the animations around it.

It might be a handset for children, based on animations and social networking, but we’re just speculating, as we know nothing about it.

And then we have the SE Uniq design, with the original model looking very much like a Nokia Xpressmusic touch phone and the Secreita version also sporting a sliding mechanism, possibly a virtual keyboard of sorts. These are also touch phones, with messaging features. What do you think of these sketches?

Sony Ericsson Aino Mini, New Frank Tobias Phone Design

Frank Tobias has just created the Sony Ericsson Aino Mini phone, shown below and detailed after the break.

This Sony Ericsson concept is a mini version of the SE Aino, featuring a 10 megapixel camera, HD video recording and 10GB of memory, plus an extra of 64GB due to memory cards. Expect the screen diagonal on the device and the resolution to smaller than the ones of the original Aino. What do you say, is this viable?

Sony Ericsson W10i, Smartphone Version of the W902

As described by the creator of the concept on his website, this phone sports a 10 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording and WiFi.

There’s also a Qualcomm QSD8×50A processor on board, plus Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, social networking (Facebook, Twitter) and more. Will this Sony Ericsson concept ever become real? What do you say?

The device is part of the XPERIA series and comes with a 4.2 inch AMOLED display and a 12 megapixel camera with Xenon flash.

You’ll find 4G connectivity, WiFi, GPRS and a proximity sensor on board, plus a secondary videocall camera, face detection, the famous XPERIA Panels and an ambient light sensor. Twitter and Facebook also get a notification button on this XPERIA concept. What do you say? Looks like a sketch for now…
