It’s been a while since we’ve seen a
Sony Ericsson concept from Esato, but now we have a fresh design from Stefan Riegenbauer. This render shows a pretty original phone, with an inclined keypad, probably a 3.5mm audio jack at the top and a microUSB port on the lower side.

This looks like a pretty trendy piece of equipment, suitable for teens and fashionable people. What do you say about it?

We’ve mentioned
Sony Ericsson Kurara once before on our site, but now we have to detail it, in case you’re not familiar with this device. After stumbling upon it on the Esato board, as a concept created by FlamEmo, we’ve come across a bunch of “live pictures” of the handset, available after the break.

Turns out that this is a Sony Ericsson phone capable of HD video recording and it sports a design that looks very much like that of SE Satio. Kurara should be running Symbian S60 5th edition and it also features an 8.1 megapixel camera and a 3.5 inch OLED display.
So, what’s the deal? Is this device real or a mere Photoshop work? We’ve yet to find an answer for this question, but maybe you can help…

Esato board member and great designer J. Havrlant has finished the Sony Ericsson Arashi concept phone, after showing us
a teaser, a couple of days ago. We learn that the handset packs a 4 inch AMOLED touch display and a 12.1 megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom.

The designer claims that more details (and probably images) are coming soon and in case you’re wondering, this is a Symbian S60 device. Is this a cameraphone or simply a smartphone with a very, very good camera sensor?

When discussing Sony Ericsson concepts, it doesn’t rain, it pours! No less than 3 new designs have hit the Esato board recently and probably the biggest waves were made by Kurara, some of the folks online mistaking it for a real device (or is it?).
We have a look at SE Arashi, pictured below and belonging to famous designer J. Havrlant.

It’s been a while since we saw his works on Esato and we’re guessing that Arashi is a cameraphone, with a full touchscreen display, tons of memory on board, Android or Symbian S60, plus a couple of other interesting features. What do you say?

A couple of days ago we showed you Jerome Brown’s cool
iPhone Slim concept and now we have another device to check out, made by the same designer. This time, we’re dealing with the Sony Ericsson touchscreen Walkman pictured below, coming with built in speakers in the touch pad area and also subwoofer speakers.

The handset also packs a 5 megapixel camera with night light, plus the ability to personalize the touch light screen numbers and side lighting (available in 50 different colors).
All of these feats are packed within a compact phone, that looks pretty nifty, specially on the front side, due to the original design.
[thanks Jerome]

Esato board user Remort1 is teasing us with a new design, the
Sony Ericsson iMPERIA concept, pictured below. This is a SE device with a full touchscreen display, a simplistic front design and I, for one, would like to see Android running on it, if possible. The real question is: could this be a cameraphone, a Walkman or an XPERIA?

Designer Carl Hagerling created an interesting
Sony Ericsson concept phone, blending a cellphone with a device that most of us use daily: the alarm clock. It’s true that such devices have died out, in favor of the ones incorporated in phones or watches, but such an idea could give the alarm clocks a new twist.

Sony Ericsson WakeUpPhone shows the time and also works as an alarm clock that’s wake you up in the morning. The Swedish designer of the handset incorporated a tilted display into the concept, perfect for the alarm position, in order to give the user a better view of the time, while sitting on the bed.
This device draws its power from two AAA batteries and also packs a Walkman player, camera and a power button.

Esato board user sealover94 is back and he has shown the world a teaser of his new
Sony Ericsson Walkman concept phone. This looks like a touchscreen music phone, quite a thin one, but there also might be a sliding part in there, tons of gigs of memory and probably a cool 8MP camera at the back..
Android anyone?

Remember the hot
Sony Ericsson Impersa concept we’ve shown you a couple of days ago? Well, aside from the original image of the device, we’ve now got a bunch of new shots, courtesy of its maker, Shane A. Bygrave. We remind you that this is Cyber-shot concept phone, with a 12.1 megapixel camera.

Also dubbed the Impersa HD, the device packs a 4.1 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with multi-touch support. The screen is protected against scratches, it supports portrait and landscape mode and you should know that the phone’s camera uses a Carl Zeiss lens, with autofocus, 3x optical zoom, XenonFlash, camera notification, self timer and night light.
A 3.5mm audio jack and a microSD card slot are also on the specs list of this concept. In the last image below, you can have a look at Impersa HD’s interface, looking pretty hot actually, specially if you take into account that this is a cameraphone.

Remort1 is a fresh name among the designers on the Esato board, but his creation is pretty decent: the
Sony Ericsson iIMPERIA concept. This touchscreen phone is both a music handset and a cool cameraphone, as it sports an 8.1 megapixel camera at the back with flash, autofocus and video recording (we suppose).

Beneath the screen you’ll notice a couple of keys, among which there’s a Home button, a Call and Reject Call button, plus another 2 keys for menu features. I wonder if this is an Android handset or a Symbian one, considering Sony Ericsson’s latest preferences.
I wouldn’t mind seeing this as a fresh XPERIA device, specially due to the name resemblance and we look forward to seeing more projects from designer Remort1.
