Remember the Sony Ericsson Candela teaser shown by Esato board user Razec? Now the designer has finally revealed his vision, of the dual display concept phone Candela, that’s still under development. This is another XPERIA design, that’s part of the “Gametertainment Series”, a promising branding, if you ask me.
Large touchscreen display? Checked! Virtual keyboard, able to display some QWERTY hotness or a touchpad area, for you to draw at will? Checked! A nice camera at the back? Checked! (I speculate, but it might be true).
This dual display phone is a premiere, because it’s Razec’s first 3D modelled concept and we’re looking forward to see its finished version.

I’m guessing it’s all video/photo editing stuff, since I have a hard time believing that the interface was already leaked, but who knows, right? tob!s did a wonderful job and I wonder what would happen if Sony Ericsson launched a device with HTC’s Sense UI on board and Android OS, too.

It’s been a while since we last saw a Sony Ericsson Walkman phone get launched, but at least we’ve got concepts, like the one that Shane A. Bygrave from the Esato board created. Dubbed the Sony Ericsson Walkman X-DJ, this music phone comes with dual speakers, a 3.5 inch AMOLED multi-touch display and a slide out music keyboard.
Walkman X-DJ supports 4G connectivity, UTMS, quad band, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, aGPS and it packs a 1 GHz processor (AMD Mobile Technology), Sony 3D graphics, 1GB ROM, 32GB internal memory and a microSD card slot (120GB of extra memory).
There’s also an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a funny feature, that’s either generated by my poor sight or a slip of the designer: 512GB of RAM. Now THAT would be something!

The designers on the Esato board seem to have been on vacation for a week or two, but it’s all fine, since September kicked in and we might be seeing some new projects soon. To start the new wave of Sony Ericsson concepts is Razec, that teases us with the following image.
We have no idea what Sony Ericsson Candela or Max are, but I’m guessing that one is the interface and the other one is some sort of cool smartphone, running Windows Mobile. The interface is very, very hot, by the way and guess what… XPERIA X2 was just officially announced. Hallelujah!

Esato board member Jozef Kocúr has previously shown us a teaser of his Sony Ericsson Yanq D&G concept and now we have the opportunity of catching a glimpse of the final product. Keep in mind that this is only a design and not a real phone!
This Sony Ericsson handset comes with a sleek design, a full touchscreen display, probably some D&G content on board, Windows Mobile OS (or Symbian, maybe Android), a camera and menu buttons underneath the screen.

Esato board user albero23 has just shown the world his brand new Sony Ericsson concept, the Icaro, that’s in the sketch phase for now. From what I can see, we’re dealing with a foldable device, that packs a multi-touch display and can change purpose, according to the form factor it uses.
You can unfold the phone and visualise a huge display, make it a compact smartphone, turn one of its sides into a keyboard and much more.

Sony Ericsson Yanq is quickly turning into a series of handsets, that now includes the basic model, Yanq Pro, Yanq HD and now the D&G Yanq. All of them were created by Jozef Kocúr, who probably found out that Sony Ericsson recently announced the Jalou clamshell, in a Dolce&Gabbana version.
The classic recipe for success was kept: sleek design, full touchscreen, attractive interface, Windows Mobile OS on board (maybe), a decent camera at the back and navigational controls beneath the display.

Esato board user Jozef Kocúr is quickly becoming one of the important names of the Sony Ericsson amateur design segment, by creating more and more Yanq series handsets. We’ve got the original Sony Ericsson Yanq concept over here and the Pro version right here and now there’s even a Yanq HD to have a look at.
And boy is this smartphone powerful! There’s a 4 inch OLED display on board, together with the NVIDIA Tegra platform, Windows Mobile 6.5 (can be updated to Windows Mobile 7), a 12.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash, HD video recording, HSDPA, WiFi and aGPS.
Last time, we were pretty sure that Jozef would an old iPhone concept name series (normal device, Pro version and then Elite), but I see that he has gone the Samsung Omnia way.

After having a look at the Sony Ericsson Yanq concept, it’s time to witness its revamp, courtesy of the same promising designer Jozef Kocúr, who created the Sony Ericsson Yanq Pro handset. Haven’t quite figured out if the sliding keyboard underneath the huge touchscreen of the device below is a physical or virtual one…
Sony Ericsson Yanq Pro runs Windows Mobile (6.5 or 7) and probably packs an impressive amount of internal memory, a 3.5 inch or more touchscreen display, HSDPA support and a nifty camera at the back (8MP, please?). Looking forward to the Sony Ericsson Yanq Elite, if Jozef Kocúr would follow an older series of iPhone concepts and their naming.

After the XPERIA X2 got somewhat official, since tons of leaks have revealed its looks and specs, it’s time to move on to the future of Sony Ericsson’s smartphone series. This is why we’ve been seeing so many XPERIA X5 concepts on the Esato board, the latest being Shane A. Bygrave’s design, you can check out below.
This time we’re dealing with an Android version of the X5, one that weighs 138 grams, measures 110 x 55 x 17mm an comes in 2 colours: Oceanic Blue and Vinyls Red. As far as specs are concerned, the device comes with a primary 4 inch multi-touch OLED display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, dual speakers, Android OS, a QWERTY slide out keyboard and portable screen.
4G connectivity is also supported, together with quad-band, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, DLNA, USB, aGPS and there’s also built-in GPS among the features. An AMD Mobile Technology 1GHZ processor is running the show from underneath the case, accompanied by an Nvidia 3D graphic chipset, 1GB RAM, 2GB ROM and SD/MMC/MC card slot (external memory max 1TB).
There’s also an 8.1 megapixel camera on board with Photo Fix, touch focus, video recording and a VGA videocall cam, plus music features like MegaBass and TrackID. The best feature of this phone has got to be the X5′s wireless detachable screen, that’ll provide many hours of multimedia entertainment.
