A New Sony Ericsson Walkman Model Coming... Total Mystery! Loading ... A while after the first new Sony Ericsson Walkman phone concepts appeared on our website, SE decided to make a real release of such a handset. Thus, they launched something that was similar to the Xperia X8, only with audio features and called it the W8. Well, now designer Victor Cao has a new product from the same series.

A New Sony Ericsson Walkman Model Coming... Total Mystery!

He teased us with the poster you can see above, announcing a new “W” model, meaning that a new Walkman is on the way. It’s most likely Android material and the screen looks big enough, maybe even 4 inches in diagonal. We’ll just have to wait and see what this is all about in the following days…

Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo Press Shot Leaks  Loading ... What we have right here is a supposed press shot of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo, that we’ve seen a while ago in blurry photo leak form. This time we’re dealing with another leak, one that confirms the form factor of the handset and once again makes me wonder about the presence or lack of an edge to edge display on this phone.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo Press Shot Leaks

We’re dealing with a smartphone with 4.5 inch display here, one rumored to support a qHD resolution and under the hood we’re expect3ed a dual core Cortex 9 processor. Supposedly, this CPU gets a 1.4GHz frequency, making it a very solid Samsung Galaxy S II rival. Sony Ericsson’s Mobile Bravia engine is also involved in this device’s development and a 12 megapixel camera is most likely to be present at the back.

The battery is supposedly a huge 2500 mAh one, but we’ll have to see about all these appealing features, since some of them seem a bit exaggerated…

Sony Ericsson Ape, a New Xperia With Android 3.0, Dual Core Processor Loading ... Here’s yet another dual core Sony Ericsson in concept phase, this time created by Frank Tobias. This unit is called the Sony Ericsson Ape and it belongs to the Xperia series, innovating it with the Android 3.0 OS and a 3.9 inch reality screen with Mobile Bravia Engine technology.

Sony Ericsson Ape, a New Xperia With Android 3.0, Dual Core Processor

On board of the Ape we find a 2.5GHz dual core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal memory and a card slot for up to 64GB. At the back there’s an 8.1 megapixel camera with Sony Exmor R mobile CMOS sensor with an LED flash and support for 1080p full HD video recording. Upfront there’s a 3.2 megapixel camera for video conversations.

In the connectivity department, you get WiFi, DLNA, NFC and Bluetooth 3.0. The design of this Honeycomb phone looks really, really nice and the curved shape reminds me of the Xperia Arc model a lot. Also, as I can see the screen is an edge to edge unit, which is always a plus.

Xperia Tanso Future Design Gets Teased

As the teaser shows, Xperia Tanso seems like a huge touchscreen cameraphone, with a very strong photo sensor at the back, three unique buttons below the screen and a nice speaker at the top. We’re expecting at least a 12 megapixel camera on this Xperia concept, but let’s see what J. Havrlant reveals in the followin days.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo is a Dual Core Smartphone With an Edge to Edge Display

Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo is a Dual Core Smartphone With an Edge to Edge Display Loading ... We’ve yet to figure out if this supposed first dual core Sony Ericsson smartphone is real or not. We suppose it’s a mere concept, that’s why we published it here, but as usual, the public will have the final saying. This is the Xperia Duo:

Sony Ericsson Xperia Duo is a Dual Core Smartphone With an Edge to Edge Display

We can notice a front side that reminds us of the Xperia Arc and a huge display that’s probably 4.3 inch or even 4.5 in diagonal. What’s really impressive is that the screen on this dual core Sony Ericsson is an edge to edge display, like the one rumored to be included on the iPhone 5.

The Android buttons at the bottom remind me of the Xperia Play a bit and if I’m to venture in speculations, I’d say there’s a 12 megapixel camera at the back, taking full advantage of the dual core processor. In case this is a mere design, than it’s great for the concept creators who’ll tweak it into something even cooler. If it’s real, all the better for Sony Ericsson fans!

Xperia X3 Design Resurfaces, This Time With Live Pics Loading ... Frank Tobias created the Sony Ericsson X3 concept we’ve shown you here and now he’s back with more shots of the device. You can find them on his blog or check out the pics below for extra design details. This is a 2.5GHz dual core smartphone with a 10 megapixel camera, in case you’re wondering.

The screen upfront is a 4.2 inch touchscreen and the device seems to show an impressive speaker at the bottom, if I’m not mistaking. This is clearly Android material, if you ask me and a smartphone that will probably become real in 6 months or so. Till then we’re left with the design and wishful thinking.

Some may say that this would also make a great Windows Phone device, but I guess it’s up to the designer to decide, right?

Sony Ericsson Eros 2 Attaches to Places, Never Lets Go

Sony Ericsson Eros 2 Attaches to Places, Never Lets Go Loading ... Ronan Caer has shown me a very interesting Sony Ericsson design of a phone called Eros 2. This device uses magnets (the three bands on the handset) to attach to metallic surfaces, like fridges for example. Also, this is a very light device, that’s also resistant and simplistic.

Sony Ericsson Eros 2 Attaches to Places, Never Lets Go

Sony Ericsson Eros 2 comes with Bravia mobile engine technology, HD video playback, stereo sound, FM radio, GPS and a decent camera. HDMI, 64GB of storage and a speaker phone are also present, as well as a potent battery (2000 mAh). The touch display shows an AZERTY virtual keyboard and it seems that the magnetic bands are also able to display info, such as the time, as shown in the picture.

This fashionable model is certainly pleasant for the eye of the beholder, but I really can’t decide if it’s modern or retro… What do you think?

Sony Ericsson Swoop Concept Supports 4G Connectivity, Packs 16MP Camera Loading ... Here’s a cool Sony Ericsson concept that reminds me of a supercar, this time created by Esato board member zimB. This device is dubbed the Sony Ericsson Swoop and it’s inspired by the design of a new Lamborghini, as we showed you right here.

Sony Ericsson Swoop Concept Supports 4G Connectivity, Packs 16MP Camera

This time, zimB is back with some specs too, not only the concept. Swoop uses a Corning Gorilla Glass protected screen, with a 4.3 inch diagonal and 3D technology support. The MotionFlow technology shows fast action movies and reduces blur caused by quick camera movements. At the inside of the phone we find a new multicore CPU, the TI OMAP4470 with fourth generation OMAP technology @ 1.8 GHz.

Sony Ericsson Swoop comes with an incredible 12.000 mAh battery, HDMI, WiFi, 4G, 128GB of internal memory and a 16 megapixel camera with Exmor backlit matrix and autofocus.
