A hot spring weekend’s coming up and it would be a good idea to give the Walkman series a new go, as seen by the creative eyes of sunils120 from the Esato board.
Sony Ericsson W230i is your average Walkman concept phone, that should come in a pretty decent price and mid class features.

The list of music phone specs you’ve been waiting for:
- 64MB internal memory upgradable to 2GB on M2
- Walkman 2.0 Media Player
- VGA Camera with 8x Digital Zoom
- Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, GPRS Class 10
- Available in 4 exciting colors

After showing you no less than
3 Sony Ericsson P3i concept phones in a previous article, we get another P3i-related treat from the Esato board and Sony-Ericsson-Cz.com. This one gets a Symbian UIQ treatment, just for fun and this concept is so stunning, that it’s getting people posting on forums asking if the phone’s the real…
Sadly it’s just another Photoshopped work of art.

Hmm, I know we usually show you full concept phones or rumoured handsets, but this time we’re dealing with a teaser and yes, it’s another
Sony Ericsson phone. This one’s codenamed “Emelie”, but we suspect it might be the K111 low-mid-end device.

The SE-NSE blog wants us to wait for more photos and info and so we’ll do, at least till the next half of the phone surfaces in another photo.

Before we start ranting about how people get their hopes up whenever they see a new concept phone, you’ll have to find out that the Tooth Fairy doesn’t exist. And even if she did, she wouldn’t believe that the concept from the image below is real and neither do we.
I mean, come on… Vista on a Sony Ericsson smartphone? They barely got Windows Mobile on them… Well, a concept’s a concept, so keep on reading for the full list of dreamy specs.

- 8.2 megapixel camera (Leica) with 6x optical zoom
- 2 megapixel front camera (Leica)

- Intel sARM Core Duo 2x 1.88 Ghz, 1GB RAM
- nVidia nMobile (T&L, 64 unified shaders, 128MB RAM, Full DX10 Support) (oh really?!)
- 32 bit High Resolution Touchscreen
- mini USB, HDMI, FireWire
Apps and OS:
- Microsoft Windows Vista SE Mobile 6.7
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0
- Microsoft Office Mobile 2007 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access)

We first saw this
Sony Ericsson smartphone a week ago in a blurry pic that told us nothing about its features. Now it’s revealed in yet another image, this time a better one. You’ll probably complain about its too small touchscreen, but the display is quite decent and we can speculate that it’s a 2.6 inch one.

Paris also features a full keyboard, similar to the one that P1 uses and this smartphone is, surprisingly enough a slider. It runs UIQ 3.3 and packs a 5 megapixel camera, W-LAN 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, 3G and USB 2.0. The Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog also adds GPS and Google Maps to the specs list plus Opera Mobile 9.5.
The latest info on this great device is that it’ll be announced before May and it will hit the stores in September.

Esato board user Razec delivers a great concept phone, with a 5.1 MP camera, the Sony Ericsson Cyber-shot 905i, one promising cameraphone. Its design reminds me of some of the
PSP Phone concepts combined with a W52S.
While it’s nice to notice those rounded edges, you should know that there’s a minor mistake too: the Call/End keys are reversed (the left one should be green and the right one should be red). Designers are human after all and Razec promises more pics to come in the following days, as soon as cleans up his messy desktop.

I’d put the Sony Ericsson Mc700i on the “could be”
PSP Phone list, as its design is fit for such a device. Mc700i was designed by Mohamad Moraa ‘D, who also created Nokia Mc36.
The Sony Ericsson concept below is a slim handset, featuring an LCD display, that can be used horizontally and vertically and gaming controls that turn it into a portable gaming device.

There’s also a 3.1 MP camera plus Flash Light on the specs list, coupled with a speaker at the back of the phone. Mc700i can be used just like your good old digital camera, thanks to a side button that can be pressed while holding the phone horizontally, as you can see in the following image.

Esato board user sunils120 makes our day brighter with a Sony Ericsson smartphone concept, that reminds me of the
P3i design I’ve shown you a couple of days ago. Well, it’s definitely a P series phone, with a pretty big touchscreen and music controls on the front side.

Something tells me that there’s a keypad underneath that touchscreen, unless we’re dealing with one of Sony Ericsson’s iPhone rivals, but that’s highly unlikely. Sunils120 has let us know that there will be more pics, so we’ll let you know as soon as he posts them.

Summer’s coming and there’s the usual need for music phones to entertain us on the beach, at least till we get the call to get back at the office. One such musical companion is
Sony Ericsson W680i, pertaining to the Walkman series, but don’t fret, as it’s only a concept phone right now, designed by sunils120, Esato board user.

As the designer states, this isn’t the final version and we’ll be seeing some updates, but let’s check out the specs for now:
- 2.0 megapixel camera with 4X Digital Zoom & Geotagging
- Edge, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, and Integrated GPS Module
- Walkman 3.0 Media Player
- Sense Me and Shake Control
- Accelerometer, Pedometer, Track ID functions
- 85 MB Internal Memory upgradeable to 8 GB Memory Stick Micro(M2)

Esato and Sony-Ericsson-Cz.com show us the latest version of the
Sony Ericsson P3i, but this time we know that it’s a Photoshopped concept phone, instead of the old leaked image. In case you didn’t know, P3i is some sort of follow-up to the P1i. It features a touchscreen and I’m sure it’ll include Wi-Fi, 3G, maybe HSDPA and a 5 MP camera.

The resemblance between the P3i and P1i is clear, specially when it comes to the design and you should notice that this new version of the P3i concept features a touchpad and a couple more keys beneath the display, unlike the original full touchscreen concept. Also, it seems we’ll be given a taste of Windows Mobile on this handset, but that’s pretty hard to believe at this point.
Here’s the first version of the P3i concept phone, that surfaced last summer and below it, yet another attempt at designing the perfect SE phone:
