Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones to Return! Poster Confirms It! Loading ... We’re not the type of site that posts breaking news, but this is pretty big! According to one of our tipsters, Sony Ericsson is preparing a new Walkman phone (version 2011), unlikely as that may seem. As confirmation we have the following poster, promising a smarter Walkman that’s coming soon.

Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones to Return! Poster Confirms It!

This means that we’ll be getting a large touchscreen, gaming features maybe, a great music player, incredible audio quality and mind blowing headphones to go with this fresh Walkman smartphone. What do you say? Real or fiction?

[thanks Victor Cao for the tip]

Xperia Ultima is a 12 Megapixel Concept Phone, Created by J. Havrlant Loading ... The teaser for the latest Xperia device design has become a concept, created for us by J. Havrlant. As you can see, the new Xperia Ultima keeps the large touchscreen upfront and comes with a 12.1 megapixel camera with an Exmor R sensor and HD capture.

I suppose that a flavor of Android with some customization from SE is running on the device and probably there’s a 1GHz CPU inside, accompanied by 16GB of internal memory and enough RAM for the OS.

Sony Ericsson P2i Makes Us Go Old School Loading ... Designer FreshFarfan from Deviantart created back in 2008 a Sony Ericsson phone that we love even now, the Sony Ericsson P2i model. It’s not dual core, it’s not packed with a 4 inch display or other tech wonders, but it still looks great! This is the mother of all Xperias, if you ask me.

I imagine that it uses a 3.7 inch touch display, but I can’t figure out if the QWERTY keyboard is physical or capacitive. Let’s say that the Sony Ericsson concept phone comes with 16GB of internal memory, Android and an 8MP camera and we’re happy (my speculations, not real specs).

Xperia Concept Teaser Appears! Something Good Coming! Loading ... The famous J. Havrlant recently teased us with two of his new designs for the future: two Xperia smartphone concepts. These are pictured below and it’s already being speculated that the one on the left is a Satio Android successor, while the one of the right is related to the K770 (the keyboard gives it away).

What do you say? Any idea on the models these newcomers are related to?

Classic Sony Ericsson Design Reminds Us of the Good Times Loading ... Esato board member RKSynth recently published a concept that reminds us of the times when Sony Ericsson rocked the world. Well, they seem to be back at it, with the Xperia series, but there was a time when the T and P models were very loved. The handset below combines the design of a P Series model with the back of a Cyber-shot.

The idea of having a portrait QWERTY keyboard with a sliding part on top is quite original and PDA-like, for old school fans. Would you buy such a device, especially if it had Android on it?

Sony Ericsson Zento is a Huge Smartphone, With a 4.4 Inch Display Loading ... One of our site’s regulars, Frank Tobias recently posted on his website a new Sony Ericsson concept phone, the SE Zento. This is quite a huge smartphone, with a 4.4 inch touchscreen, using the Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine and Android 3.0 as the OS. Notice how lately most concepts of handsets seem to run Android 3.0 Honeycomb instead of Android 2.3?

Back to the smartphone, Sony Ericsson Zento comes with a 2,5 GHz dual core processor, a 10 megapixel camera capable of Full HD capture (Sony Exmor R) and a 3.2 megapixel front camera. HDMI is also on board and I guess that this beauty will fit right in the Xperia family.

Playstation Tablet Trailer Might Not Be That Far Out (Video) Loading ... Considering that recently we’ve heard that the PlayStation tablet might become real, this concept has more meaning than we though. Even that “Coming Holiday 2011″ supposed launch date makes sense, with Engadget’s recent leak of info claiming that the product will be dubbed Sony S1 and announced this Fall.

This PSP Tablet is supposed to have dual analog sticks, a toughened 9 inch multitouch display, PSN integration and XMB. Trophy support is also included and be that there’s a quad core CPU hiding in there somewhere. Credits go out to SmoquGaming.

Sony Ericsson Xeta Runs Android Honeycomb Loading ... Back again with the Android 3.0 Honeycomb phone story, that seems to be getting more and more real… This time we’re dealing with a Sony Ericsson concept, created by Frank Tobias and known as Sony Ericsson Xeta. This device features a 2GHz dual core CPU, a 4.2 inch touchscreen display and a full HD 8.1 megapixel camera at the back (with Exmor R sensor).

At the front of the Sony Ericsson Xeta there’s a 3.2 megapixel camera for videocalls, while the handset also comes with the Sony Mobile Bravia Engine, a HDMI port and mini USB port. We’re pretty sure that such a device will be available in time for CES 2012 or MWC 2012.

Xperia Play Duo, Follow up to the PSP Phone Loading ... Since the PSP Phone is already real as the Xperia Play, why not start thinking about its follow-up. This device was designed by Esato board member pavlov’s dog and can be seen in the image below. The Xperia Play 2 (or Play Duo) keeps the sliding design, the portion above that reminds us of the Xperia X10 and the gaming controls.

Xperia Play Duo, Follow up to the PSP Phone

There’s a quad core A9 CPU inside this newcomer, that’s only a concept right now and the screen is 4.5 inch in diagonal (720p OLED). Expect quite a number of years to pass before you see the next PSP Phone. Just remember how many it took to get here…

Sony Ericsson Xperia X21, Not as Wide as Usual Loading ... We’re used to the Xperia smartphones being wide and not so elongated as the following concept. This is the Sony Ericsson Xperia X21, a device created by Long-Nong Huang and a handset that uses a 4 inch Reality Display, plus 1GHz CPU.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X21, Not as Wide as Usual

Other details are not known, but the form factor and design sure remind me a bit of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. Android is pretty much a given on this phone and I have to wonder if there’s a potent camera at the back or not…
