Let me start by saying “My bad!”, as far as the Sony Ericsson W977 phone is concerned, since it seems it does have a front display, unlike what I was claiming in
this article. It all became clear once Shane A. Bygrave published this great promotional shot of the Walkman concept phone.

Sony Ericsson W977 is a Walkman handset featuring a front video camera, touch sensitive Walkman button, Walkman keys, a camera shutter and front keys below the screen. Moving on to the specs, we learn that the device’s touchscreen is based on OLED technology and the phone comes with WiFi, a 7.2 megapixel camera, an accelerometer, Bluetooth 3.0, dual speakers, DNLA, SEMC OS v5.5, and LAN.

It’s been a while since we last saw a
Sony Ericsson concept phone and Shave A. Bygrave has a new design to show us, the Sony Ericsson W977 Walkman Phone. Featuring OLED technology, the Walkman 4.0 player, a 7.2 megapixel camera and Wi-Fi, this handset looks really nice, but I’d really love to check out its front side as well.
W977’s specs list also includes an accelerometer, Bluetooth 3.0 and DNLA. I wonder if the phone packs a touchscreen or not…

Sony Ericsson’s cameraphones are getting more and more complex and what more proof do you need when we’ve the 12 MP Idou getting ready for a 2009 debut. In the meantime we can enjoy some concepts of other similar handsets, like
Sony Ericsson C825, designed by echo.shane from Esato.

C825 features Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, 2 GB of internal memory, geotagging and a 7.2 megapixel camera with video light. There’s also a 600 x 800 pixels screen and dual speakers on the specs list.
I have to say, that’s a very neat design at the back of the handset, looking modern and different from what we’re used to see on SE devices.

MobiFrance celebrated the French Independence Day on July 14th by showing the world a neat concept phone shaped like the Eiffel Tower. The concept bears the name of FL (French Luxury) and it’s a touchscreen handset with a 7.2 megapixel camera.

If you hold the phone vertically it looks just like the famous French monument, the Eiffel Tower and you’ll also notice that it features speakers on its sides. The FL supports multimedia playback, features a vibration mode and that neat touchscreen is an OLED display. No news about the price of this beauty, but it’s pretty interesting to see the Sony Ericsson branding on it.

Last time we saw a
Sony Ericsson C905 concept, it came with a 10.2 megapixel camera and slightly exaggerated specs, but this UIQ version seems much more plausible. Designed by pavlov’s_dog from the Esato board, the brand new Cyber-shot design also shows a brushed metal version of its beautiful self. There’s also a 7.2 megapixel camera in there, ready to monopolize the action.

Razec from the Esato board is at it again, releasing a “storm” of new concept phones that should please all
Sony Ericsson lovers and even haters. One of those handsets is the Sony Ericsson G902 “superphone”, featuring a 7.2 megapixel CCD sensor designed by Sony that guarantees you’ll be taking pictures like a pro.

G902 also comes with a touch operated multipoint focus and 3x optical zoom and you should know that the phone is a compact UIQ hybrid smartphone. Other than that, the device is sexy and slim and it also includes a Xenon Flash just like the Cyber-shot goodies.
