You might be aware by now that Sony has goodies for us in 2009 and among those there’s a new PSP console, known as PSP Go! We have no pics or specs for this brand new device, but Breccia, a designer from the Esato board envisioned the future of the PSP series and created his own version of the Go! or
PSP 2.

As you can see in the sketch, the device resembles quite a lot a Cyber-shot camera and speaking of which, this PSP 2 concept packs a 5 megapixel camera sensor. On its specs list you’ll also find stereo speakers, Bluetooth 2.1 (3.0 even?), WiFi support, 8GB of internal memory, an accelerometer and a 4.3 inch touchscreen display with a 640 x 360 pixel resolution (16:9)
Breccia also imagined that this new PSP will use OLED technology (screen) and that it’ll incorporate a microphone, a microUSB port, a 3.5mm audio jack and a battery slot. What do you say? Is this design plausible? The features sound about right, but I’m not so sure as far as the design is concerned…

Reminding me very much of the P1, this
Sony Ericsson concept phone was created by Esato board user Exilim and it bears the name of Sony Ericsson E600i. We’re dealing with a “superslim” business phone with a big screen (touch maybe?), a compact design and a QWERTY-style keyboard (half QWERTY?). What do you make of it?

Sealover from the Esato forum showed us a more attractive
Sony Ericsson Idou handset, maybe inspired by the online rumours that claim we’ll be seeing the phone in stores this Fall.
Idou is cool, we all know that and we have to remind you that this is the first 12 megapixel cameraphone announced for 2009. Cool 3.5 inch touchscreen, a brand new Symbian OS on board, what more could you want?

Esato’s back with a tob!s design, the
Sony Ericsson CS8 concept phone, featuring Android, a T-Mobile logo and a pretty basic design. Those look like touch-sensitive keys near the nav pad and you can spot a front camera incorporated in the device’s upper side, so there’s also 3G and videoconference support on board.

Since the K series is a gonner, feast your eyes on this
Sony Ericsson K580 concept phone, created by Esato user lavender389. That’s quite a strange place to mark the handset’s brand, but overall the design is quite elegant, although I don’t quite get why the keyboard segment goes lower than the device’s edge.
Also, what’s the deal with those keys? What does the “1″ key do?

Sony Ericsson’s cameraphones are getting more and more complex and what more proof do you need when we’ve the 12 MP Idou getting ready for a 2009 debut. In the meantime we can enjoy some concepts of other similar handsets, like
Sony Ericsson C825, designed by echo.shane from Esato.

C825 features Bluetooth, WiFi, aGPS, 2 GB of internal memory, geotagging and a 7.2 megapixel camera with video light. There’s also a 600 x 800 pixels screen and dual speakers on the specs list.
I have to say, that’s a very neat design at the back of the handset, looking modern and different from what we’re used to see on SE devices.

I just love the water drop pattern of this concept phone’s case and the idea of “hiding” an external display that shows your incoming calls within a “mystery blue layer”. Echo.shane, Esato board user is the creator of this handset, but he admits that the 3.2 megapixel camera is not the best, when it comes to design.
Sony Ericsson Z790 is a pretty fancy handset, for ladies and trendsetters who like that water drop pattern.

Esato board user
echo.shane designed a brand new Sony Ericsson concept phone, the S719, which is some sort of mid-end cameraphone, packing a 5 megapixel sensor. You can admire it in various colors below, some of the really suited to this time of the year (lime green, strom blue or harmony pink).

Sony Ericsson S719 packs a touchscreen display (I estimate 2.5 – 3 inches) and a numeric keypad. Add an interesting interface to it, a decent media player and internal memory, so you’ll get a pretty hot gift for your favorite lady.

Esato board user FlamEmo has us accustomed to great
phone designs, so this brand new XPERIA concept is a sign that he keeps up the good work. Interestingly enough, the handset’s menu is in Russian (I think), so this concept phone might be theoretically hitting the Yota carrier, that also brought us HTC Max 4G.
Of course, this is all speculation and lucky guessing, but we feel free to dream every once in a while…

This new XPERIA concept draws its inspiration from the design of Sony Ericsson Idou and packs a touchscreen, probably a physical QWERTY keyboard, too and lots of memory and processing power. Wonder if I got the Yota speculation right…

We’ve shown you the Sony Ericsson Ruriko concept
teaser before and finally we’ve got images of the “real” device, designed by the famous Esato board user Razec. This superb concept handset packs a 3.5 inch external AMOLED display with capacitive touchscreen surface, a Qualcomm QSD8250 1GHz CPU, 256MB RAM and 16GB Flash Memory.

There’s also a unique slide hinge included in its design, a brushed metal back finish, 1080p HD video support, a 12.1 megapixel camera (Exmor CMOS, 28mm wide Carl-Zeiss Sonnar, Xenon Flash, HD 720p video recording) and the Android OS v2.0 with Sony Ericsson GUI.
Ruriko also incorporates a second camera (1.3 megapixels), used for videocall and live chat, a 3.5 inch internal WVGA AMOLED display, touch sensitive multimedia keys, a QWERTY keyboard, a 4 way DPAD plus a 2.1 stereo subwoofer. Isn’t this Sony Ericsson concept a bit better than your Eee PC?

Next time we’ll have have a look at Razec’s concept interfaces for the Android OS.
