Yes folks, we’re pretty positive at this point that the fourth generation iPhone will be called iPhone HD. In half an hour of so, Steve Jobs will open WWDC 2010 and announce the brand new iPhone HD. This supposed iPhone 4G was present on our site a couple of times, as concepts an designs, plus we’ve shown you photos of the prototype an Apple employee lost a while back.
Here’s a list of the best iPhone 4G concepts, for you to compare with the real thing coming out today. Don’t forget to cast a LIKE on our fresh Facebook account.

Fresh after the announcement of iPhone OS 4.0, we came across the first iPhone HD concept, based on the new platform. This render belongs to the folks of RenderCreativity and it’s a 3D piece of work that portrays the iPhone 4G, with its 64GB of internal memory and dual cameras.

The device supports videocalls through iChat, it’s made completely out of aluminum and supports multitasking, thanks to the new OS. We’re guessing that it also has an LED Flash and some extra memory and processing power, plus a better display, when compared to its predecessors.

It was only a matter of time till we started seeing iPhone HD concepts, borrowing from the design of the iPad. The handset uses an aluminium unibody design, following the lead of the MacBook Pro line. This iPhone 4G design packs 32GB of internal memory, a new Home Screen and possibly some hidden use for that black plastic segment on top… What do you say?

Since we’re so fond of iPhone 4G concepts, why not stop for a minute and have a look at the design of the next-gen iPhone’s package and dock? Created by Seraphan, the same dude who made a very neat iPhone 4G a couple of days ago, this new package keeps the Apple styling, with the dock also being pretty sleek and cool.

The handset’s box has a very sci-fi look to it, while the dock is very slim and fancy, perhaps even a bit too fragile for our taste. One thing is for sure: this iPhone 4G concept package is more protective than the one of the previous models. What do you say?

Here’s yet another iPhone 4G concept, this time looking hotter than ever and created by iSpazio user Seraphan. This glossy piece of work comes with a bigger display than current iPhone models, plus iPhone OS 4.0, apparently.

There’s also a front 2 megapixel videocall camera on board, an SD card one side and the usual buttons for volume and silencing on the other side. At the back you’ll find a 5 megapixel camera sensor with flash and the memory is available in 32 or 64GB versions.
The interface on this iPhone 4G also seems to include a separate section used like some sort of dashboard, showing weather and features like emails, calendar and more. Does the UI borrow a bit from TouchFLO 3D/ HTC Sense, or is it just me?

Here’s a fresh iPhone 4G concept, created by Francesco Maisano and sent to the folks of iSpazio. This device is a bit more rounded than the iPhone designs we’re used to, but it’s not all bad, since it’s different and innovative.

The iPhone 4G is supposed to run iPhone OS 4.0 and it packs a front camera, a back camera with flash, a special time/date/weather section and a Home screen showing 8 main apps.
16 more apps will be shown on the rest of the screens following it. Would you buy a rounded iPhone like this?

How about a better iPhone? An iPhone 4G concept shown by the folks of iSpazio.net and packing quite an amount of fresh features, for example. The handset uses a widescreen display, showing 5 rows of icons, a microSDHC card slot, a LED light indicator and a solid metal protector around the device’s body.

There’s also a 12 megapixel camera on board with LED flash, two speakers incorporated, two microphones, a multifunctional Home button, a removable battery and a duraluminum back panel.
This iPhone 4G design also includes a hidden videocall camera upfront and you have to know that the Home button is backlit and can be pressed in multiple ways (upward to lock the device, downward to active a certain app). What do you say? Is this iPhone your cup of tea?

The folks of iphon.fr have recently created an iPhone concept following the design lines of the freshly launched Apple iPad. The result was a white handset, with an aluminum case and a plastic area at the top, meant to allow a better transmission of the network signal.

Also, one might notice the square-ish then curved design of the supposed iPhone 4G, but we have no clue right now to show that this device will ever be real. Let’s just hope that the camera at the back is at least a 5 megapixel unit and it also comes with flash, although this seems very unlikely, for now.
As for the Apple iPad elements borrowed, we invite you to find them and leave a comment below.

We’re in 2010, folks, the year of the Apple Tablet debut and the iPhone 4G release, so let’s face it: we’ve got to prepare for the next gen iPhone. We don’t yet know if Apple will change the handset’s design, but we wouldn’t mind if it would look something like this:

There’s also a pretty neat roundup of rumours concerning the new device made by Cupertino, all of them comprised in the following image (click to enlarge). Among those, it’s very likely that the iPhone 4G will sport an OLED display, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a front facing video camera and a dual core processor and more RAM.
It’s interesting to note that the launch of the product, supposed to take place between May and July is considered a 99% sure fact. Speculations regarding the next gen iPhone also mention the presence of a touch sensitive case (making the handset resemble the Magic Mouse), 64GB of NAND flash memory, portable DVR functionality and built-in RFID.

We all know that the Apple Tablet is coming, as well as the iPhone 4G, but all we’ve got right now are concepts of both devices. While the tablet is more likely to leak or be launched this month, the next gen iPhone is a long way from release, so we’re content with having a look at Guillaume Moshi Guyader’s concept design below:

We really wish that something would change with the future iPhone, since Apple’s design is starting to get old, specially if we have a look at what HTC and Motorola are making right now. Even a minor change would be welcome, like a new button, a bigger touchscreen, maybe 2 screens or a physical keyboard.
What would you add to the iPhone 4G concept?
