Well, the Apple iPhone Nano is basically the iPhone 4 with a smaller screen and iOS 4.2 on board. So we’re dealing with a 2.9 inch handset, capable of multitasking and multitouch.
Its display supports a 780 x 480 pixel resolution and the specs list of this iPhone concept also includes WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G+ connectivity, GPS and a 5MP camera with flash. 720p video capture is also among the features, as well as 16/32GB of internal memory and a Sensor Home button.
What do you say? Can this device created by Joy Studios become real?

Designer Archil Vardidze recently showed us a new iPhone concept, that moves even further away from the current innovations. This is the iPhone 6, that got rid of the antenna problem by moving it externally. Button material has changed and the device is based on an aluminum shell.
Solar batteries are also featured on this handset, expanding the life of the iPhone 6 and as far as the design is concerned, the new iPhone is more square-ish, but still slim. The look of the Home button has changed and it makes it look as if it has push levels, possibly for more than one command. Also, this iPhone seems a big longer and wider than its predecessors.
iPhone 7 anyone? What do you think about this device?

Designer Samuel Lee Kwon created an interesting iPhone concept, meant to be worn around the wrist and project a virtual display in the user’s palm. It’s all shown in the images below and as you can see, the device does sport a tiny touchscreen, displaying the vital stuff (missed calls, emails, iPod function).
Believe it or not, there’s also a camera in there, plus a Home button and a receiver. A pulse sensor and SIM card tray are embedded into the back side of this let’s say “iPhone watch”. There’s one thing that bothers us: why project the screen on such an irregular surface like the palm of your hand and not on a wall or table?

Here’s a new iPhone 5 concept, this time not too detailed and relying very much on the video at the end of the article. Created by WaterWorks/ Christopher East, this iPhone design relies on futuristic hologram projections.
Such mechanisms will be used to turn the iPhone 5 into the perfect presentation tool, specially for architects, car, boat designers and whatnot. Combine that holographic ability with the power of Office PowerPoint and you’ve got productivity nirvana… or do you?
As you can see in the video, you can control the hologram via gestures. Nifty, right?

Remember the beautiful iPhone Pro concept? The handset now gets a virtual unboxing video, that you can check out below. This device was created by Italian agency design ADR Studio and we have to mention that the iPhone Pro comes with a MagSafe connector and a great concept dock, allowing you to stream video to an Apple TV.

It’s been a year since we’ve published the iPhone concept over here, but at that time we didn’t know that this was the work of Olivier Demangel. You must have heard about the British 3D artist, since he created that beautiful Nintendo 3DS concept we’ve shown you last week. Now it’s time to check out an iPhone design with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.
The device looks amazing, perhaps even better than that Sidekick – iPhone combo we’ve seen years ago. Notice the cool iPod scroll wheel, placed on the left side of the keyboard, possibly for handling media features and maybe some gaming as well.
The original iPhone’s touchscreen is kept and if the iPhone HD looks anything like this, I’ll buy it for sure.

It was only a matter of time till we started seeing iPhone HD concepts, borrowing from the design of the iPad. The handset uses an aluminium unibody design, following the lead of the MacBook Pro line. This iPhone 4G design packs 32GB of internal memory, a new Home Screen and possibly some hidden use for that black plastic segment on top… What do you say?

Yes, you’ve read it right, July 2020! Ceriel Verschoor proposes a very interesting design, a futuristic iPhone from the year 2020, dubbed the iPhone S. This device was created as part of a study for the designer’s education and we learn that the handset uses a glass unibody, making the concept look great.
iPhone S also comes with Apple A.I. with voice recognition, 4 terabytes for local caching, a full OS with mobile user mode, 8th generation gaming capabilities (2011 consoles) and wireless charging. It also uses a sensory data filter to streamline object information and it manages to integrate the front and back cameras into the display, as well as fingerprint authentication.
Gesture and touch input are also included among the features of this futuristic phone, as is 5th generation data network technology, a transparent 3D color display and color E-Ink core. This sure sounds like sci-fi stuff, but how would have the iPhone sounded to you back in the year 2000?

Another day, another iPhone 4G concept, this time one that looks pretty “fat” and does HD video. We don’t know if “HD” refers to video capture or simply playback, so we’ll assume it’s both. The device also packs social networking features and comes with a rounded back side.
iPhone HD uses a front videocall camera, or so we think, while the back camera comes with a flash and the phone is sure to offer more than 32GB, like most iPhone concepts do lately. Notice that the design is pretty glossy and the form factor tends to remind me of a Toshiba product, although I’m not sure why…

iSpazio’s Antonio De Rosa created a very interesting iPhone 4G 3D concept, that you can see in the following images. There’s even a video at the end of the article, if you want a more detailed video on this futuristic iPhone design. There was an older version of the concept, that has now been redone by its creator, with rounded shapes and corrected errors.
This iPhone 4G concept packs an AMOLED touch display, a front camera, iPhone OS 4.0 with iChat, a Remote TouchControl feature and a glowing logo on the rear panel. There’s also a stand accompanying the device, called AluStand, also shown in the images below.
The very slim and evolved iPhone 4G comes with a rounded design and a very promising look, plus neat features. Great work, Antonio!
