We have heard of an iPhone nano or two, but how about we take the idea down a notch and get the iPhone Capsule? This mini iPhone is created by the same Andro Gama that brought you yesterday’s Sony Ericsson Xperia tablet. This Apple concept measures a mere 4.89 x 10.1 x 1.35 cm and weighs 87 grams.

Its specifications include a 2.4 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, that’s protected against dust, fingerprints, water and scratches. There’s also a 3.2 megapixel camera on board with support for video recording of up to 30 fps in VGA model. You can control the iPhone Capsule by shaking it, with features such as turning on or off music, changing the tune and volume being available through such gestures.

The handset comes with a stainless steel frame and supports 3D stereo sound provided by the headset it comes with. As far as connectivity goes, you’ve got 3G, HSDPA and WiFi, plus Bluetooth and USB. A simplified iOS is also included, as seen here and the front side of this mini iPhone really reminds me of an older Nokia model, a fashion one that belonged to the L’amour series. Does anyone else remember that?

With all of the recent iPhone 5 rumors, Apple fans forgot to check out the speculations about a tinier iPhone, the nano version. Well, now comes this concept to remind us all that such a device could actually exist We’re dealing here with a shortened iPhone 4 that got a very interesting way of input.

New Chubby iPhone Uses Fingerprint Swiping for Control

This device is designed by Zeki Ozek, who proposes a shorter iPhone with the ability to swipe the user’s finger for background apps. Also, fingerprints work for NFC payments and purchases in the app store. This model looks quite a bit like the iPhone 4, except for the fattie profile. Don’t expect any of these features on the iPhone 5, but maybe on the iPhone 6… who knows?!

This would make a really fine iPhone nano, or maybe a new media player from the iPod Touch series, but one with NFC support as extra.

After so many iPhone 5 and iPhone 6 designs comes an iPhone nano concept, that was created by Dallas Bradshaw. The new model is a tinier handset with iOS 5 on board and a Retina display. The specs below look more like the ones of the iPhone 5 to be honest.

iPhone Nano Concept Created by Dallas Bradshaw

iPhone nano will come in black and white, with 8, 16 or 32GB of internal memory, an Apple A5 dual core chip and 8 megapixel camera. There’s also 4G LTE support on the list, a slimmer design, improved speaker sound and iPod control soft buttons. I have to say that this design reminds me very much of the polycarbonate body that the Nokia N9 has…

The control area from the handset’s top side is very interesting and certainly a nice idea, so you won’t have to use the controls from the unlock screen thus saving power.

Have no idea what are the specs behind the iPhone nano mockup created by Nicholas, one of the commenters on the original 9to5mac.com article talking about such concepts. However, we’re loving the purple theme and how slim the device manages to be. It appears it was designed months ago, before the iPhone nano was even a dream.

This handset is slim enough to look fragile and its screen is once again edge to edge, like the one of the previous concept… Is this edge to edge thing ever going to be implemented?

Keep looking for more iPhone nano mockups on our site and here’s a new one, in case you want fresh meat. This one belongs to Dorian, who claims that the new iPhone nano will be totally covered by the screen and lack buttons. The single buttonon it will the top on/off one.

iPhone Nano Mockups: Part 4

The screen dimension of the original iPhone will be kept and the device will lack a front camera, only relying on the back 3.2 megapixel one. No Retina Display is meant for this baby and the $199 price tag is also speculated. What do you say?

Previous iPhone nano mockups can be found on our site and now we have a “fat boy” on our hands. This thick device is a supposed iPhone nano concept, created by S J and placing the home button between the headset jack and the on/off/sleep/awake button.

The display resolution is the same as the one on the iPhone 4 and the tiny smartphone weighs about 3,2 ounces. Will this “baby iPhone” fit your needs?

The 9to5mac series of iPhone nano conceptual renderings continues with an image posted by commenter Jeremy (aka rade/eccles). As you can see, the idea of a full touchscreen without edges or borders is adopted. The display is pretty crisp and there doesn’t seem to be a change in resolution. What do you think of this iPhone design?

Well, isn’t that sweet? We’ve just found an interesting article on 9to5mac.com referring to the future and smaller iPhone. While the iPhone 5 is supposed to sport a 4 inch display, Apple might also launch that mythical iPhone nano. This generated some mockups on the site we just mentioned.

iPhone Nano Mockups Start Popping Up: Part 1

Supposedly, the new smaller model will be codenamed N97 and it’ll be half the size of the current iPhone, while costing $49 on contract. Speculations also say that the new device is “all screen” and it goes all the way to the edges. The Home button will also be lacking… Will you buy such a gizmo or be happy with a mere iPhone concept?

With all the recent talk about Apple making a smaller and cheaper iPhone, we can now show you a concept fit for this idea. Enter the iNano, created by Long-Nong Huang and also known as the iPhone 4K. K stands for keyboard, that’s present as the sliding part on this device.

iNano, the Smaller iPhone With Keyboard?

This smaller iPhone is a dumbed down version of the latest Apple handsets, with a 800 MHz CPU, 3.2 inch Retina Display with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution and a 5MP camera. Will the Cupertino giant produce something like this or skip to iPhone 5?

Well, the Apple iPhone Nano is basically the iPhone 4 with a smaller screen and iOS 4.2 on board. So we’re dealing with a 2.9 inch handset, capable of multitasking and multitouch.

Its display supports a 780 x 480 pixel resolution and the specs list of this iPhone concept also includes WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, 3G+ connectivity, GPS and a 5MP camera with flash. 720p video capture is also among the features, as well as 16/32GB of internal memory and a Sensor Home button.

What do you say? Can this device created by Joy Studios become real?
