Jozef Kocúr created a brand new
XPERIA concept phone, dubbed the X001, that you can see below. Aside from being part of the famous smartphone series, this device is unique because it’s basically made from a solid brick of aluminium and it combines the power of a solar cell with a methanol battery.

This eco-friendly phone has a simple design and its methanol tank is transparent. The backside hosts a large solar panel and the two solutions combined power the device with environmentally friendly energy, so you’ll save Mother Earth, while you chat on your XPERIA phone.

[Thanks Josef for showing this to us]

Esato board member Jozef Kocúr has previously shown us a teaser of his
Sony Ericsson Yanq D&G concept and now we have the opportunity of catching a glimpse of the final product. Keep in mind that this is only a design and not a real phone!

This Sony Ericsson handset comes with a sleek design, a full touchscreen display, probably some D&G content on board, Windows Mobile OS (or Symbian, maybe Android), a camera and menu buttons underneath the screen.

Sony Ericsson Yanq is quickly turning into a series of handsets, that now includes the basic model,
Yanq Pro,
Yanq HD and now the D&G Yanq. All of them were created by Jozef Kocúr, who probably found out that Sony Ericsson recently announced the Jalou clamshell, in a Dolce&Gabbana version.

The classic recipe for success was kept: sleek design, full touchscreen, attractive interface, Windows Mobile OS on board (maybe), a decent camera at the back and navigational controls beneath the display.

Esato board user Jozef Kocúr is quickly becoming one of the important names of the Sony Ericsson amateur design segment, by creating more and more Yanq series handsets. We’ve got the original
Sony Ericsson Yanq concept over here and the Pro version
right here and now there’s even a Yanq HD to have a look at.

And boy is this smartphone powerful! There’s a 4 inch OLED display on board, together with the NVIDIA Tegra platform, Windows Mobile 6.5 (can be updated to Windows Mobile 7), a 12.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and Xenon flash, HD video recording, HSDPA, WiFi and aGPS.
Last time, we were pretty sure that Jozef would an old iPhone concept name series (normal device, Pro version and then Elite), but I see that he has gone the Samsung Omnia way.

After having a look at the
Sony Ericsson Yanq concept, it’s time to witness its revamp, courtesy of the same promising designer Jozef Kocúr, who created the Sony Ericsson Yanq Pro handset. Haven’t quite figured out if the sliding keyboard underneath the huge touchscreen of the device below is a physical or virtual one…

Sony Ericsson Yanq Pro runs Windows Mobile (6.5 or 7) and probably packs an impressive amount of internal memory, a 3.5 inch or more touchscreen display, HSDPA support and a nifty camera at the back (8MP, please?). Looking forward to the Sony Ericsson Yanq Elite, if Jozef Kocúr would follow an older series of iPhone concepts and their naming.
