If you thought that
Microsoft Courier, the tablet prototype we’ve shown you yesterday was bad, wait till you see the handsets that Microsoft has readied for us! Yes, it’s true, the Project Pink phones have leaked online, the Turtle and Pure handsets being available in the following images.

The devices are made in cooperation with Sharp, using the Danger and Sidekick expertise, which is not necessarily a good thing. Turtle looks just like a Palm Pre on steroids, while Microsoft Pure is an average slider, resembling Motorola CLIQ. Notice that the phones look plasticky and that they feature rounded edges, probably for a more fun approach.
Rumour has it that these devices will provide support for Zune services, but don’t be surprised if there’s also some Xbox action in there.

With
Sony Ericsson’s Twitter account claiming that they’ll launch something new tomorrow and
XPERIA Rachael getting leaked again, in black, one can only assume that this handset will see the light of day soon. That being said, we know that Sony Ericsson might announce the XPERIA X2 tomorrow, or maybe Rachael, but they’ll surely show the world something new.

Last time we saw Rachael, it was shown in brighter colours, but still with the “leaked” status, so nothing official to brag about. Seeing “XPERIA” and “Android” on the same device makes us think that we’re actually seeing a very, very hot smartphone here, one that can easily compete with the iPhone 3GS, Nokia N97 and even Toshiba TG01.

If we were back in the days of the Renaissance we’d have a category of “beauty in the wild” shots portraying concept phones and leaked handsets. Now, we’re dealing with images of phones that look real and not the usual Photoshop makeovers. Esato board user tob!s shows us how
Sony Ericsson Rachael would look live.

This Android 2.0 device has been on everyone’s lips recently and many seem to think that it comes with the XPERIA branding. Nice render and I hope you realized that this is not the real thing…

The folks of
mobil.nu claim to have info on fresh Sony Ericsson handsets, among which there’s an Android 2.0
XPERIA device and this strange Sony Ericsson Kiki phone, rendered below. Its display is made out of glass, but the image is rear-projected onto it and in case you’re looking for keys, there’s no trace of them.

The display’s technology creates some sort of the depth, when it comes to the image shown on the screen and it seems that there’s no camera aboard the handset. Also, the icons show that the phone is not very advanced, so we might be dealing with a low end render here. What do you say? Is it realistic?

Just as HTC Dream G1 was becoming a hit, we showed you many concepts of a
possible G2 and now HTC Magic (G2) is available almost anywhere in Europe, so it’s time to have a look at the G3. Surprisingly enough, the device doesn’t even leave enough time for designers to come up with concepts, as it gets leaked and pictured in the images below.

Known as HTC Hero, this new Android device comes without a trackball, with 5 hardware buttons below the touchscreen and a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, in order to solve the complaints of the general public. No detailed info on the device’s specs yet, but we can notice that the G3 is a tad less thicker than the other Android phones.
Could this be a major winner when it comes out?

Seen by many as a HTC Touch HD with WiMAX flavour, the just leaked T8290 features a Russian interface and it’ll seemingly work on Yota’s (Russian carrier) service. This handset has been introduced at the WiMAX World Conference in Chicago, but there’s no trace of launch date or price.

Forget about specs, but you can imagine that the features of HTC T8290 are about the same as those of the Touch HD, give or take a few aspects. Also not coming to the US, I presume…

The T-Systems site from Germany managed to leak a new MacBook Pro laptop ahead of time, or we’re dealing with a pretty big error, when it comes to showing new product pictures. This seemingly new MacBook Pro comes with an iPhone-style edge surrounding the screen and a thinner body, if that’s even possible.
Strangely enough, the specs stay the same, an extra reason to consider just another fake/mistake…

Seems that most awaited handset of the year, the Nokia Tube touchscreen phone, was leaked on Flickr, where it showed up with its beautiful black case and not too many details. The Flickr user J. Blade made those pics public and he mentions that the handset will be available in January 2009.

We’ve named it Nokia Tube, the Tube, Nokia 5800, Nokia XpressMedia 5800, but now it goes as Nokia 5800 X-Press Music C. All we know is that this device is a prototype, without a battery, but there seems to be a 3 megapixel camera at the back of the phone and a Carl Zeiss lens to complete the specs.
Nokia refused to comment on this story, as they usually never talk about rumours or speculation. Is this the real thing? Disappointed, are we?

After a prolific announcement session at
Mobile World Congress 2008, Sony Ericsson seems to be readying yet another device, seemingly leaked thanks to the folks of the
SE4M forums. The handset is branded “SE 123″ meaning it’s only a prototype for now, but I have to say that this is quite a strange design for a SE device.

I dig that metal finish and I have to say that the handset looks like a mid-range or even low-end device, but it seems rather thick, if you ask me.
