might get back on track thanks to their Z9 handset, seemingly scheduled for an introduction at CTIA Las Vegas, 8 days from now. Considering that the handset was recently approved by the FCC, we’ve got quite a bit of info on it and by now Moto’s got posters advertising the phone all over the Internet.

Z9 features a 2.4″ QVGA color display, a 2 MP camera with flash and 8x digital zoom and a microSD slot with support for memory cards of up to 8GB. There’s a set of music keys at the front of the device, so you’re in for a multimedia experience you won’t forget.

The list of features continues with quad-band GSM radio support (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual-band (850/1900 MHz) WCDMA and HSDPA. Add AGPS and the Opera 8 browser to that and we’ve finally got a decent Motorola on our hands, or we’ll have rather in a week or so.

This concept phone was designed by Lysandre Follet, from Paris, France and published on Coroflot and also on the device creator’s site (quite a nice one, actually). It may have a tiny little Blackberry form going on, but that stereo camera is surely a winner, if you ask me.

Add some e-mail support, Wi-Fi and a powerful speaker in the mix and this device might as well save the famous American brand.

Astro Studios created the MXC identity for Motorola when they launched one of their most famous generations of microchips and there’s even a beautiful “reference design form factor” (as stated by the designers) you can admire below. It’s not clear what this device is, it might be a gaming device/MP3 player or an advanced smartphone… or both.

The Motorolafans have another goodie for all of you concept phone fans and this one’s called MOTOSHOT L11. It’s a concept device, designed by ravefolk and based on the L series and the ROKR E6, running Linux. L11 features a half QWERTY keypad and a 2.6 inch OLED touchscreen display (32 bit color - 16 million colors). Its camera is a 5.0MP beauty CCD with autofocus, macro and OCR, while the phone’s specs also include a full media player, stereo speakers with A2DP and FM-RDS radio. MOTOSHOT L11 supports Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and you might be wondering what’s David Beckham doing in the background of the image above. Trust me, I don’t know either…

Here’s what might get Motorola back on track, in case they’ll ever make it out of the current crisis: E680W, a neat concept phone, featuring a wide touchscreen. Ycyas, the user who posted this on the Motorolafans forums also wants to see Linux EZX UI on this device, making it a worthy iPhone rival. I hope the design team over the producer’s HQ is watching this…
