It’s been a while since I’ve seen such a good-looking
Nokia concept phone! And now, we’ve got Nokia 5900 Monoir on our hands, courtesy of designer András Nemes, who envisioned this device. The new Nokia handset packs a 3.5 inch touchscreen TFT LCD (16:9; 260 x 640 pixels) and uses Symbian S60 5th Edition.

Under the case you’ll find an ARM 11 369 MHz CPU, 1GB of SDRAM memory and a GPS receiver. Nokia 5900 Monoir also features a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, dual LED flash and VGA video recording (30 fps), plus WiFi, dual band 3G with HSDPA and quad band GSM support.
Nokia Maps 2.0 Touch is also on board and the device incorporates a microSD slot, TV out, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth and USB 2.0. 5900 Monoir ships with an 8GB card, uses a 3.5mm audio jack, provides excellent audio quality via Dolby Mobile and uses a proximity sensor in order to turn the screen on and off automatically.

The handset’s QWERTY keyboard is an on-screen landscape virtual one and as far as gaming is concerned, you’ll be using an accelerometer sensor for automatic UI rotation and motion-based games. The specs list of the superb Nokia 5900 Monoir ends with an Office document viewer and OVI, MySpace integration.
For more info on the works of András Nemes, check out this site and know that we’re really stunned by the great design of this brand new Nokia touchscreen handset. When will it become real?!

[Thanks to András Nemes]

Nokia Strapup is the ideal tool for party people and it’s not quite a phone, in the proper meaning of the word. The bracelet-shaped device sends predefined messages to your friends, which are triggered by your movements, while dancing. No typing, no fuss… Just dance and your friends will find out where you are and what’re you doing, having a good time that is.
Nokia claims that it doesn’t plan to manufacture this bracelet phone too soon…

Don’t throw stones at me for calling this Nokia concept a low-end, but the handset sure looks like one, unlike a very
similar Nokia concept phone we’ve shown you a while back.

You can compare the two designs, if you want, but Nokia Neo (first image) is surely the less specced phone, as for the older device, it’s theoretically an XpressMusic handset (second image).
iPod-stycle clickwheel in the mix? Probably not… or not any time soon.

2 years before
Nokia Morph was designed, there was another promising flexible concept phone that could be wrapped around your wrist. There’s also a pretty neat earpiece concept included in the design and once you unwrap the Nokia 4G Phone, you’ll see a beautiful and simplistic interface.

Touchscreen is once again at work and the user interacts with it thanks to a stylus. I suppose that Morph borrowed a couple of elements from this Nokia 4G prototype, even the color, if you’re really into details.

Kort Neumann has seen the future and it spells “Nokia” for him, as the man designed the beautiful concept phones you can see in the pictures below. One of them features a full touch display and integrated touch keys, as odd as that combination may seem.
The screen of the Nokia Black Facet handset integrates the keypad on each facet, as you may notice below.

The white version of this Nokia device integrates an interactive display, which shows images that travel on the handset’s surface. What’s interesting is the way how the phone is levelled and divided into a numeric keys section and one with MP3 controls only. This Nokia concept is made out of polycarbonate, which gives it a neat look.

There’s a reason why I like this
Nokia concept phone, although some of you might consider is a bizarre idea to say the least: I was a fan of those bulky Sony Ericsson T phones from the late nineties. This phone design, pertaining to Heikki Juvonen brings back memories and although it’ll fit badly in your pocket, it’ll look cool once you pull it out.
Now let’s see how we can keep the phone in our hand, without stressing the gripping fingers too much.

After seeing
Nokia’s Tube in action and getting a glimpse of the future
Touch Communicator, it’s time for the camera to flash, as we check out an 8 megapixel cameraphone. Yes, the device is branded Nokia, but the details are extremely scarce… The handset looks more like a camera than a phone to me, but it’s equally hot.

Turns out that it features Bluetooth, Symbian S60, a speaker and tons of eco-friendliness. This concept phone is made of wood from sustainable forests, so Mother Nature won’t suffer as you take your pics with the aid of the handset.

Well, I haven’t seen a Nokia F Series till now, but who knows what the future holds, as we approach a potential announcement of the
Tube handset. This touchscreen device is dubbed the F700 and looks like something LG would design. As for the real artist behind this
Nokia concept phone, all we’ve got is something like “vb vella”.
Quite a thick slider we’re dealing with and I’m betting on an accelerometer under that “hood”.

Last time we saw the
Nokia N98 concept phone, it was an iPhone clone with a twist and uber-specs. Well, Tobias Hornof gave it another shot and created the wonderful device below. This N98 concept design is surely no iPhone, or its remote relative, but rather takes the whole idea of full touchscreen handset further.

It reminds me of the LG Synthesis, while the full touchscreen is really FULL, as I can see that there are no visible edges at the side of the phone. The interface is basic enough to suit any user’s tastes, but I’m curios to see how a virtual QWERTY keypad works on this display. All in all a great device!
[thank to Tobias Hornof]

We have to start by mentioning that these is not an official
Nokia concept design, but a fan made device, bearing the name of Nokia 7001. Can a square mobile handset, half the size of the iPhone make it on today’s market?

The 7001 was designed by Tobias Hornof and some may see it as a square LG Prada, but what’s fascinating is the slick interface of this exotic phone. I mean, come on, there’s even a virtual QWERTY keypad on that tiny screen!
Fancy a stylus or will you rely on your piano-playing thin fingers?
