Sony Ericsson GX 1 Might Be a Rugged Phone Loading ... The GX-1 is a Sony Ericsson concept phone that took part in a design competition, started by SE in China. This happened quite a few years ago, so it seems that the info on the participants and their products got lost in the mist of the web.

However, I managed to get my hands on this pic of the GX-1 concept and from what I can tell it seems quite a rugged device, with an original way of holding a SIM card. Too bad that the handset is bulky and the screen seems too little for the current full browsing-crazed public.

Sony Ericsson W960 Gets Revived by a Brand New Concept Loading ... It’s time for some Sony Ericsson concepts again, as sunils120 from the Esato board decided to show us the revived version of the W960. This Walkman handset comes with a 5 megapixel camera, GPS and an 8GB internal memory.

Add autofocus and touch focus to the camera’s specs, plus face detection, geotagging and WiFi, HSDPA and Bluetooth 2.0 and we’ve got a pretty neat Sony Ericsson concept phone on our hands. The problem? It’s not real yet folks!

Sony Ericsson W870i, Another Hot Walkman Phone Loading ... Sony Ericsson’s got something coming for the next week and I’m talking big launches, but till then sunils120 from Esato is back with his latest design, the W870i concept phone.

Sony Ericsson W870i, Another Hot Walkman Phone

This is yet another Sony Ericsson Walkman concept phone, styled up and ready for summer parties. It sports a candybar design, a great keypad placement and I’m taking a lucky guess: a 3 megapixel camera, maybe?

T905, a Shiny Shiny Sony Ericsson Loading ... The Sony Ericsson T905 concept phone comes with extra solar panels as you can see, but those may be there for bling or for environmentally friendly recharging. Either way, J. Havrlant’s design is neat and the specs are pretty good as well.

T905 comes with a 5 megapixel camera, a VGA display, aGPS and GPS, Wi-Fi b/g and 4GB M2 included.

Was wondering if my phone’s touchscreen was also a solar panel, would it feel really warm when I touched it? Just a thought, nothing to do with the T905…

Sony Ericsson PXi Is a Left Handed Touchscreen Device Loading ... Targeting a segment of the public was never easy, so seeing a phone designed for lefties must please at least a couple of thousand people. PXi falls in the SE “P” series and is Bence Bogar’s creation. The smartphone is both slim and hot looking, as you can see for yourself.

Sony Ericsson PXi Is a Left Handed Touchscreen Device

It’s made out of magnesium and it features a 3.3 inch touchscreen that rotates automatically just like the iPhone. PXi supports finger and stylus input, while on its left side there’s a jogdial and another touchscreen showing the used apps. This Sony Ericsson concept phone doesn’t get enough memory it seems, since it comes with 2 card slots.

The list of specs is completed by a 5 megapixel camera with Cybershot quality and stereo speakers. Futuristic? Yes. Conceptual? Yes. “Phantastic”? Very!

Sony Ericsson Smartphone Concept Is Not an April’s Fools Joke

Sony Ericsson Smartphone Concept Is Not an Aprils Fools Joke Loading ... Esato board user sunils120 makes our day brighter with a Sony Ericsson smartphone concept, that reminds me of the P3i design I’ve shown you a couple of days ago. Well, it’s definitely a P series phone, with a pretty big touchscreen and music controls on the front side.

Something tells me that there’s a keypad underneath that touchscreen, unless we’re dealing with one of Sony Ericsson’s iPhone rivals, but that’s highly unlikely. Sunils120 has let us know that there will be more pics, so we’ll let you know as soon as he posts them.

Sony Ericsson P3i, Photoshopped Beauty (2008 vs Leak vs 2007)

Sony Ericsson P3i, Photoshopped Beauty (2008 vs Leak vs 2007) Loading ... Esato and Sony-Ericsson-Cz.com show us the latest version of the P3i, but this time we know that it’s a Photoshopped concept phone, instead of the old leaked image. In case you didn’t know, P3i is some sort of follow-up to the P1i. It features a touchscreen and I’m sure it’ll include Wi-Fi, 3G, maybe HSDPA and a 5 MP camera.

Sony Ericsson P3i, Photoshopped Beauty (2008 vs Leak vs 2007)

The resemblance between the P3i and P1i is clear, specially when it comes to the design and you should notice that this new version of the P3i concept features a touchpad and a couple more keys beneath the display, unlike the original full touchscreen concept. Also, it seems we’ll be given a taste of Windows Mobile on this handset, but that’s pretty hard to believe at this point.

Here’s the first version of the P3i concept phone, that surfaced last summer and below it, yet another attempt at designing the perfect SE phone:

Sony Ericsson Mystery Concept Phone… Any Ideas?

Sony Ericsson Mystery Concept Phone... Any Ideas? Loading ... Just stumbled upon a mystery concept phone on the Motorolafans forums and I’ve been wondering what series it could belong to. It’s certainly not a Walkman, nor it is a Cyber-shot, but could it be part of the “P” series? What do you make of it?

Sony Ericsson Mystery Concept Phone... Any Ideas?

Interestingly enough, it’s got a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a virtual keypad plus a camera and a couple of extra buttons that are surely used for multimedia features. Also, the phone seems to use a neat photo editing app, P1100 FotoViewer 3.1 if I’m not mistaking.

Any idea about this concept? I’d love it if the designer, blackflip51 would tell us what handset this is.
