For starters I have to say that I like the taste in music of Esato user FlamEmo, the creator of this XPERIA/Idou concept phone. We’ve seen
the device before, but now we get a taste of its interface, the multimedia/audio menu specially, packing a pretty neat set of icons and great finger-friendliness. No specs for this strange XPERIA/Idou hybrid, just yet…

Clauf from the Esato board showed the world his vision regarding a new Sony Ericsson T device, the T905, which is more of a Cybershot handset than anything else. This is one of those rare occasions when the designer of the concept phone offers the public more specs than pictures of the handset.

The T905 comes with a 2.6 inches BRAVIA touchscreen with a 800 x 480 pixels resolution, quadband GSM 850/900/1800/1900 support and 3G HSDPA 1800/1900/2100 connectivity. On the specs list of this hybrid you’ll also find an accelerometer, aGPS, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash and stereo speakers.
Clauf’s handset uses A300 software like a task manager, a Facebook app, Flash or Java widgets, Gmail, Picasa, Google Maps and many others. I, for one am very content about these specs, but I’d like more images to go along with them.

We see lots of concepts daily, but few of them are those unique ideas that will change the future of cellphones. One such idea comes from
Tao Ma, a name you’ve heard lots of times on Concept Phones. This time it’s the Sony Ericsson Ring Phone getting all the praise, as it won the SE design competition from China in 2004.

The device is as simple as it is beautiful: just hold the ring close to your ear to answer a phone call and draw out the microphone as you use the handset. Call this a mini-cellphone, a gizmo, a contraption, your favourite Sony Ericsson, but one thing’s for sure: you don’t see designs like these every day…

What’s the point in having a handset that does music, video, email and comes with the latest features, if it doesn’t add that extra salt and pepper? Vincent Palicki’s concept Walkman phone, pictured below brings a full size USB port as a bonus, aside from its slim candybar look and stainless steel keys.

Of course, this greatly increases the storage space of the device, but there’s also the disadvantage of having a nasty piece of equipment always sticking out, like a broken limb.
Also, this Sony Ericsson phone will tend to become and uncomfortable experience, specially if you leave the USB memory stick in while holding it close to your ear, or in your pocket.

The Sony Ericsson W3i was designed by
J. Havrlant, one of the most prolific SE concept creators, who this time shows us that Walkman phones can have good cameras and hot specs.

This Walkman concept comes with a 480 x 800 touchscreen, 16 GB storage space, 256 MB RAM and a 5 megapixel camera with a Xenon flash. The Sony Ericsson W3i also handles connectivity quite well, offering WiFi, UMTS, HSDPA and EDGE support.
Other than that, we’re dealing with a fancy slider that can rival any iPod/music phone.

You might call it Sony Ericsson Hicaru or Hikaru, but one thing is for sure: the device looks awesome and it might just bring that SE Paris back to life. Last time, we’ve shown you a
leaked pic of the device and now we’ll one-up the stakes by having a look at the Hikaru concept phone designed by pavlov’s_dog from the Esato board.
As the designer says, the handset’s design philosophy takes its inspiration from Sony Ericsson P990.

After seeing and drooling at the F305 phone, it’s time for a concept of a future “elder brother” of this device to surface, courtesy of Xell. The
Sony Ericsson F705 is an F305 follow-up based on the W760 handset and it’s a gamer’s dream phone.

F705 features a 2.2″ QVGA screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera and HSDPA support. There seem to be some gaming controls included too, as well as a camera, but no details regarding those till now.

Every blog and site out there became enthusiastic over this Sony Ericsson concept… Why!? Is it because it seems real? Is it because it’s a full touchscreen phone and a quite slim one? Is it because it was published on the Esato board by the user Xell? What’s the deal with it?

It’s been a while since the last
PSP phone concept, but the device below might as well be a candidate for that name, specially since it’s (supposedly) a Sony Ericsson handset. Meet The Street Hunter phone, designed by Remi Tod, who probably fancies chocolate bars as much as we do, since his device is based on components that look like such sweets.

The “chocolate bars” include the phone’s keys and they’ll switch position as you pass from the phone mode, to gaming console mode or MP3 player mode. The audio player is probably the most convincing of the three, while the console really made me curios. Is this worthy of a PSP Phone branding? We think it is.

Missing out on your share of
Sony Ericsson concept phones? It’s been quite a week for SE lovers as it seems to be raining
concepts from everywhere, specially those bearing the famous green brand. Check out Sony Ericsson C712 below, designed by Not_me from the Esato board:

I have to say that I like the white C712 concept more, but it’s the keys beneath the display I don’t quite fancy. They seem too close to the call and endcall buttons. I’m sure you’ll press those by mistake, at some point while using the device.
