You could have sworn that Esato user tob!s has shown the world a genuine magazine displaying the brand new Xperia X3 handset, although the X2 is nowhere to be found, yet. The Sony Ericsson XPERIA series will surely include more devices and if the second or third one looks anything like the blurry design below, things might get interesting.

Android flavor, anyone? Or maybe some radical changes of specs?

We saw a neat Sony Ericsson messaging device getting leaked a week ago, just before the start of Mobile World Congress 2009 and now we can check out a very similar handset, created by Esato board user tob!s. Sony Ericsson Reese might even be the actual device we saw in the original poster, but it’s more detailed and looking hot.

Notice the presence of a swivelling QWERTY keyboard on board, a video camera and navigation mechanism that will ease menu browsing. Announcement at CeBIT 2009, maybe?

Tob!s from the Esato board designed yet another Android handset, probably a Sony Ericsson XPERIA device, known as the X3. After so many X2 concepts, a follow-up (at least in naming) is a breath of fresh air.

As usual, the handset features a touchscreen display, the classic Android UI, but I can’t help noticing that this version is a tad shorter than the others.
Can this be considered a sort of XPERIA mini or even a… “nano”?

Oh how we love Esato for their fresh new concepts, delivered each day with the aid of inspired designers, like tob!s, who recently showed us a new Windows Mobile phone. I’m talking about the device pictured below, a Sony Ericsson concept phone that runs Windows Mobile and resembles the G1 a bit.

Talk about blurry pictures… Something big is coming and only tob!s knows what. One thing’s for sure: it’s going to pack a touchscreen and loads or RAM, ROM and CPU power.

We’ll see Cyber-shot handsets with megapixel counts that are higher than 8 in 2009 for sure, but for the units that stick to that figure, design will be crucial in the years to come. Some day 8 megapixel will be “low end”… Some day, Sony Ericsson will make a 20 megapixel cameraphone…
Till that day comes we can have a look at this breath-taking Sony Ericsson C909 Audi R8 V10 Edition concept phone, designed by Tob!s and posted on Esato:

Some say that the “spyshots” of the device are made using a Photoshopped HTC Touch HD, which is quite possible, but still a great job. Combining the Audi and Sony Ericsson brands you get elegance, style and neat features (we can suppose). From the looks of it, the concept phone’s display is at least a 3 inch one and there should be some neat camera editing software in there, too…
After all’s said and done, we must remind you that we are yet to see a hot (and real) cameraphone with a touchscreen display.

They would be live pics if the phone were real and not only an extremely well done concept designed by tob!s from Esato, although some of the members of that board might disagree. The device is the new definition of glossy and its form factor resembles the iPhone quite a lot, although the XPERIA X3 is a tad longer.

I couldn’t help noticing that one of the photos of the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X3 concept posted on Esato was named “LG Renoir”… Could any of the photos above and below use Renoir as their Photoshopped “muse”? I’m just guessing here, so don’t throw stones…

Most of the Walkman concept phones we’ve seen lately sport a touchscreen and a beautiful design that SE should really look into, if they want to make it a successful 2009.
Tob!s from Esato brings us Sony Ericsson W909, yet another SE music phone with a touchscreen, but no specs to complement the hot looks. I’m guessing it comes with at least a 5 megapixel camera and maybe 8GB of internal memory… Did I get the features right?

Sealover94 from Esato introduces yet another XPERIA X2 concept phone, this time one that should make it to the tech addict’s wallpaper list. The blurry pic below is the creation of tob!s, also from Esato, who really imagines an X2 in action.
Some of us are barely getting used to handling a Sony Ericsson XPERIA X1, while these folks are already dreaming of the next generation of Windows Mobile and SE-branded devices… Taking their opinion into consideration is the least that Sony Ericsson can do, if they want to succeed.

The Esato forum user tob!s is in a “design spree” it seems, as we’ve seen lately, by checking out his XPERIA X5 concept and that Photoshopped Alicia prototype. Well, he’s back with some “live” pics of the XPERIA X5 and a candybar design for Sony Ericsson Alicia, dubbed the W702.

He also promises future versions of the Alicia, a slider and a UIQ phone. As for the XPERIA X5, it looks quite nice, although a bit thick, but what did you expect from such an uber-smartphone?

After tob!s from Esato killed us the other day with the beautiful XPERIA X5 concept, he’s ready to do it again, with the aid of a Sony Ericsson Alicia concept. Here’s the W707, in its electronic flesh, not really a concept but rather a prototype of the device with some Photoshop magic on it.
