Sony Ericsson XPERIA Daiki: Smartphone Meets Cameraphone Loading ... Esato board user juris15 has created a brand new XPERIA concept, that he showcased recently. We’re talking about the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Daiki phone, pictured below, a pretty nice combo between the usual design of SE smartphones and the one of Cybershot cameras.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Daiki: Smartphone Meets Cameraphone

Although we have no info on the specs of this Sony Ericsson design, we can notice that it incorporates a 12 megapixel camera, with HD video recording, a pretty big flash and stereo speakers.

Combine that with a front touchscreen display, WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth and 8/16/32GB of memory and you’ve got a multimedia powerhouse.

The music player on the XPERIA Renovatio looks quite nice, since it’s pretty simple to use and there’s even a photo gallery feature on board, although we have to mention that another unique feature of the device is its black and white screen.

While some of you might not like this choice, that’s part of the charm of this Sony Ericsson concept, based on transparency and elegance.

His latest work is the XPERIA Renovatio, followed recently by a model from the same series, but this time running Windows Phone 7 Series. The handset is pictured below and it looks pretty sleek and high end-ish.

The last rumours we heard pointed towards an ASUS or HTC Windows Phone 7 model as the first to be released, plus the rumoured LG Panther. Will the likes of Sony Ericsson and Motorola join this initiative soon?

If SE’s WP 7 device looks anything like Jozef’s concept, we’ll certainly have something to praise SE for.

The new XPERIA features a 4 inch HD OLED touch display, 16GB of internal memory, an 8 megapixel camera at the back, the Walkman 4 player, Mediascape/Timescape UI and Android 2.1.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Renovatio Design Finished, First Fully Transparent Phone Pictured Loading ... One of our favourite teen designers, Jozef Kocúr has recently finished working on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA Renovatio concept, that he showed us in a very detailed way. This neat design involves a transparent phone part and this has got to the one of the most original XPERIA models to date.

Sony Ericsson XPERIA Renovatio Design Finished, First Fully Transparent Phone Pictured

XPERIA Renovatio is the first fully transparent phone, as the designer claims and we learn that its “magical display” is also the user’s personal biometric reader. It’s also interesting to mention that the handset doesn’t use connectors, allowing you to listen to music via Bluetooth, charge the device through a “magical charging pad” (probably wireless) and connect to the PC via WiFi.

Gesture recognition is supported on the device, as well as touch interaction, thanks to a transparent interface called TAIO. This UI is a world’s first and what’s interesting is that it’s black and white, for an extra touch of elegance. Renovatio’s name is Latin for “rebirth” and we found out that this is supposed to be the successor for XPERIA Pureness.

We’ll publish more photos and details regarding the handset soon, since one article is never enough for this device.

New Sony Ericsson Design, Project Two Looks Promising Loading ... As we expect Sony Ericsson to show their financial report officially and deliver the bad (or worse) news, we’ve come across a teaser of an upcoming design bearing the SE logo. The concept device pictured below was made by Esato board member Jozef Kocúr and it seems to be a future XPERIA model.

New Sony Ericsson Design, Project Two Looks Promising

As far as I can tell, the smartphone bearing the name “Project Two” runs Windows Mobile, maybe WM 7 and the device is incredibly thin. There’s certainly a powerful processor inside, the likes of Snapdragon or so, but we’ll leave the rest up to the designer. This teaser shows promise, that’s for sure.
