A new leak offers an early glimpse at what could be the design direction for the upcoming Google Pixel 11 Pro XL. Instead of renders or CAD files, the information comes from a third-party case that appears to match the dimensions of the future flagship, suggesting potential changes to the camera module.
If Google follows the same launch calendar as in previous years, the Pixel 11 series is expected to debut in August 2026. That still leaves several months before the official reveal, which means the accessory could be based either on early measurements of a prototype or simply on speculation from case manufacturers preparing ahead of time.
What stands out immediately is the redesign of the camera area. The case suggests that the camera bar may be significantly less protruding than on the Pixel 10 Pro XL. One possible explanation is that the body of the phone itself could become slightly thicker, allowing Google to integrate the camera components more evenly into the chassis.
At the same time, the camera module appears wider than on the previous generation and adopts a shape that looks closer to a rectangle rather than the oval layout used before. It is unclear whether this change reflects a new internal camera arrangement or simply a different aesthetic approach.

The current Pixel Pro XL generation already packs a 5,200 mAh battery, but a larger capacity could be one of the upgrades users hope to see. Storage may also move from UFS 4.0 to the faster UFS 4.1 standard.
Camera upgrades remain an open question. Google has historically focused on computational photography rather than chasing high megapixel numbers, but the industry trend toward 200 MP sensors could eventually influence future Pixel hardware.
