If you were hoping Google would rethink the Pixel A series, these leaked renders probably won’t do much for you. Images shared by Android Headlines and OnLeaks show a purple Pixel 11a with flat sides, a nearly flush, pill-shaped housing for two rear cameras and a separate flash. The camera housing looks a little shorter than the Pixel 10a’s, but you’d need to put the phones side by side to spot the difference.
The front is similarly familiar: a centered selfie camera, rounded display corners and bezels that still look fairly substantial. Another render shows a USB-C port and speaker openings along the bottom edge. Purple is one of four rumored colors, alongside black, silver and green, although the shade in these images shouldn’t be taken as confirmation of what a retail phone will look like. The reported dimensions are 153.46 × 72.35 × 9 mm, just a touch smaller than the Pixel 10a.

The potentially interesting changes are on the inside. The Pixel 11a is rumored to use Google’s Tensor G6, replacing the Tensor G4 found in the Pixel 10a, along with a MediaTek modem and 8 GB of RAM. Leaks also point to a 6.3-inch display with a 60–120 Hz refresh rate and a higher peak brightness of 3,350 nits. A 4,870 mAh minimum battery capacity has been reported, though Google could advertise a higher typical capacity. The rear camera specifications remain unconfirmed.

Google hasn’t announced the Pixel 11a, its price or a release date. A spring 2027 launch would fit the general A-series pattern, but that’s still an expectation. For now, the renders suggest Google is comfortable keeping the Pixel 10a’s understated design and saving the more noticeable upgrade for the processor.
