Honor has officially kicked off the teaser campaign for its next flagship foldable, the Honor Magic V6, and this time the reveal comes with a celebrity cameo. The device was spotted in the hands of Hong Kong actor and singer Nicholas Tse during a professional photoshoot shared on Chinese social media, giving us our first real-world look at the phone ahead of its expected unveiling at Mobile World Congress 2026.

The Magic V6 appears in a striking red finish with what looks like a vegan leather back panel, continuing the premium aesthetic introduced by its predecessor. The most distinctive design element remains the octagon-shaped camera island, accented with subtle red and gold detailing. The device also keeps flat sides and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded into the power button.

A foldable with a shockingly large battery

One of the most surprising leaks concerns the battery. The Chinese variant of the Magic V6 is tipped to pack a massive 7,150mAh battery — a figure rarely seen in foldables, which typically hover just above the 5,000mAh mark. The battery has reportedly been certified by China’s 3C authority and is expected to support blazing-fast 120W wired charging.

If accurate, this would position the Magic V6 as one of the most endurance-focused foldables on the market.

Flagship silicon and a 200MP camera

Under the hood, Honor is expected to equip the Magic V6 with Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, aiming squarely at ultra-premium performance. Camera-wise, leaks point to a 200MP main sensor with a large sensor size, complemented by a periscope telephoto lens for long-range zoom.

Other rumored features include wireless charging, IP certification for water and dust resistance, and even satellite communication support — a feature increasingly present in high-end flagships.

Honor may also attempt to reclaim the title for one of the thinnest and lightest foldables on the market. For reference, the previous generation measured just 8.8mm when folded and weighed 219 grams.

All eyes are now on Barcelona, where more details about the Magic V6 are expected to surface in early March.
