Huawei P60 First Render is Here, Also Some Specifications

While the Huawei Mate 50 Pro launches in Europe today, we also get to learn more about its successors. Turns out that the Huawei P60 Pro has just received a leak and it’ll use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. We have more info below.

If everything goes like last year, the Huawei P60 is expected to debut in December 2022. It’ll be accompanied by a P60 Pro and probably also a Lite or RS edition. A render has leaked online a few days ago, revealing a rather simple design. It includes a figure 8 shaped back camera, plus a very narrow notch upfront. Some even say it could be a Dynamic Island like the iPhone 14 Pro got. It should also get the variable aperture camera from the Mate 50 Pro and a brand new 64 megapixel telephoto camera.

Sources talk about the Huawei P60 series as bringing in new color schemes, especially a new blue hue. The dual ring back camera will host 3 sensors, including a main 50 MP shooter, 64 MP periscope camera and an ultrawide camera with 40, 48, 64 or 50 MP resolution. The device will still only be a 4G affair and only special 5G cases will bring this sort of connectivity to it. Android 12 and EMUI 13 should be on board, sans Play Store.

The device sounds more like an incremental upgrade, if you ask me and only the XMAGE thing could bring evolutions.
