The Huawei Watch 5 has leaked ahead of its official launch, giving us a good look at its design and colour options, along with estimated global pricing. The smartwatch recently appeared in NBTC certification listings under the model number RTS-AL00, confirming LTE support. Now, renders shared by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore and published by 91mobiles offer a clearer picture of what to expect from Huawei’s upcoming wearable.
Visually, the Huawei Watch 5 sticks to a familiar circular dial design, resembling the Watch 4 series. It comes in two size variants — 42mm and 46mm — and shows off a range of colour options including black, white, gold/beige, green, blue, and brown. The casing appears to accommodate both silicone and steel strap variants, and at least one model seems to feature a fabric-like strap, possibly for a more casual look.
One design element that stands out is the accented rotating crown located on the right side, paired with a physical button and an oval-shaped section housing two cutouts. These could likely be magnetic charging connectors, although this hasn’t been officially confirmed. The rear side, where the sensors are placed, is expected to host a heart rate monitor along with SpO2, step tracking, and calorie burn sensors — all standard in today’s smartwatches.
On the pricing front, the Huawei Watch 5 is expected to launch with a starting price of €499 (~2.475 lei), and depending on the size and strap material, it could go up to €549 (~2.730 lei) or €649 (~3.230 lei). These prices position it in the premium smartwatch segment, notably higher than many might expect from Huawei, especially given its previous wearables.
Although full specifications remain under wraps for now, the leaked images and certification details indicate that Huawei is not reinventing its smartwatch but refining it. The minimal changes in design suggest a focus on internal upgrades or perhaps a new software experience. There’s no word yet on whether a Pro version will launch alongside the standard models, but the steel-strap variant seen in the images may hint at such a possibility.
