Hasan Kaymak just sent me a very nice email containing his latest concept phone, the LG Optimus Pro, that you can see right here. We’re dealing with a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 unit with 1.5GHz of speed and the next generation of NOVA display, with a 4.3 inch diagonal and 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

This 720p phone runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Optimus UI, it’s got Bluetooth 3.0, some 3D features and it’s overall a tiny device. I can spot a 12.1 megapixel camera in there, which would be a first for LG and a welcome first for that matter. The front design of the handset reminds me a bit of the HTC HD7, maybe because of that speaker grille at the top.

I’m really curios to see the first HD display phones, since they might amaze us all, who are still using the iPhone 4’s Retina Display as a landmark in quality. Also, I’ve seen a LG Optimus Black unit in action and the NOVA display was stunning. Now imagine a second generation of NOVA display…

[Thanks Hasan Kaymak]
