People are so convinced that the Google Nexus series is over that even before the Google I/O 2015 event began, there were no big rumors about a new Nexus phone or tablet. Some are still hoping for a Nexus 5 (2015) model, that we’ve seen rendered at least twice so far. Well, DBS also gives it a go and offers a ton of details about their model.

Don’t forget to have a look at the video below! It will shed some light on cool features, like the 13 megapixel front camera, 5.5 inch Quad HD AMOLED screen or the dual infrared port. There’s a 20 megapixel back camera here with OIS 2.0 and F/1.8 lens, as well as a fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor. Android M is the OS here and the specs list includes a 4000 mAh removable battery, a Snapdragon 820 processor and USB Type C port.

Memory cards of up to 1 TB are supported and there are 4 GB of RAM offered here, plus 64 or 128 GB of storage. The screen is an edge to edge one and the device’s format reminds us of the Nexus 4 and Nexus 5, particularly with the rounded top and bottom parts. The back of the phone is totally the Nexus 5 one, staying true to the device name after all. It’s interesting to see that LG is still making this phone, according to the branding at the back.

I also see it has dual front speakers. Would you buy this phone? Excellent work DBS!
