Bob Freking just send me an email of a device he calls the Motorola Atrix 3, a phone render that looks more like a live picture of a smartphone. The Atrix was the model that brought the dual core trend to the USA and also that nifty lapdock accessory that everyone loved. The Atrix 2 was launched without too much fuss and now Bob feels that the Atrix 3 should get a bigger hype.

He imagined a monster of a phone, with the Motorola Atrix 3 using a quad core Tegra 3 processor, a finger print scanner, face unlock and support for “powerful docks and keyboards”. The handset comes with 2 GB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera, a 4.3 inch 720p display and a very thin chassis. There’s also a 3300 mAh battery, that should give it enough juice to draw a comparison to the longevity of the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. So, what do you say? Is there room for an Atrix 3 in the USA?

I have a hard time believing that Moto would actually use a quad core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU, as I imagine they would rely on a TI OMAP solution or maybe even a Snapdragon.
