Probably the most interesting smartphone from early 2020 is the Motorola Edge+. It’s finally something different from Motorola and it has just leaked online in fresh renders provided by Evan Blass, or @Evleaks as his Twitter handle goes. Let’s check those out.
First of all, this is finally a Motorola flagship, a Snapdragon 865 phone. It has a waterfall display, in the vein of Vivo NEX 3 and Huawei Mate 30 Pro and seems to get rid of buttons. This time it’s shown in blue and red and reveals its 108 megapixel back camera, accompanied by a 16 MP ultra wide shooter and a telephoto 8 MP camera, plus the LED flash and laser focus. The bezels are being kept to a minimum, aside from the chin. We also see a punch hole selfie camera in here.
The fingerprint scanner will be embedded in the screen and we also know that the handset will feature a 6.67 inch screen panel with 90 Hz refresh rate, 5G support and a Android 10, There’s also a huge 5170 mAh battery inside and plenty of RAM. April 3rd is mentioned on the screen, which is probably the debut date for the device. Motorola Edge has also leaked, as the lighter version of the flagship, with a Snapdragon 765G CPU, 5 GB and a 4500 mAh battery. There’s the same diagonal here.
