Motorola Signature 27 Leaked Renders Suggest Its Next Flagship Wants to Be Jewelry, Too

Motorola’s Signature experiment is barely eight months old, but the company already appears ready for round two. Leaked renders of the Motorola Signature 27 offer an early glimpse at what could become the brand’s next design-focused flagship, and Motorola isn’t exactly trying to hide its ambitions. This looks less like a conventional Android phone and more like another attempt to blur the line between consumer electronics and luxury accessory.

The renders suggest Motorola isn’t throwing away the visual language established by the first Signature. The Signature 27 appears slim, softly sculpted and dominated by a camera system that flows into the upper portion of the rear panel rather than looking like a separate slab bolted onto it. Large circular lenses with polished surrounds add some visual drama, while an official teaser deliberately zooms in on the camera hardware, using light and shadow to make the phone look more like a piece of jewelry than a piece of silicon.

That comparison becomes even harder to ignore because Motorola’s European teaser reportedly contains a “Crystals by Swarovski” logo. It strongly suggests that at least one Signature 27 variant will receive Swarovski crystal detailing, continuing a collaboration Motorola already explored with the original Signature. Whether you consider that tasteful or extravagant, it gives Motorola something increasingly rare in the flagship market: a design identity that doesn’t depend entirely on making the camera bump bigger.

There’s still plenty Motorola isn’t showing us. We don’t know the chipset, camera sensors, battery capacity, display specifications or price, and the renders only reveal enough of the hardware to start the conversation. Users in the EU and UK can already register their interest, however, suggesting the full reveal may not be too far away. The first Signature arrived in January 2026, so Motorola teasing its successor just eight months later feels unusually aggressive. If these renders are representative of the finished product, Signature 27 looks set to continue Motorola’s push toward phones that want to be noticed before you even turn the screen on.
