Lately the Nokia Asha devices have been turning into little cool looking handsets, that offer see through cases and some pretty nifty designs. They also have a fresh batch of software installed that’s starting to look decent. And now we get the Nokia Asha QWERTY shown below, a pretty cute looking device from the lower end Nokia product range.

Designed by Mohammad Zahid Maqbool, the Asha phone is rather elongated and it packs those transparent edges, plus a cute yellow QWERTY keyboard and a reasonably large touchscreen. Specs include the famous dual shot clear case, the latest Asha OS, a 2.8 inch touch display and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The camera doesn’t have a flash and there’s no 3G in here, so we’re keeping it light.

The price would be in the range of 80 to 90 dollars, according to the designer and this is meant as a device for the budget consumers. Would you buy this thing? I’m thinking it would make a fantastic second phone…
