Nothing’s next affordable smartphone has finally stepped into the spotlight. After recently surfacing in a Geekbench benchmark, the Nothing Phone (4b) has now appeared in its first leaked images through a video shared on X, giving us an early look at the handset’s design ahead of its official debut on July 7, 2026.
The most striking version shown so far comes in a light blue finish that immediately stands out. The rear panel keeps Nothing’s signature transparent-inspired aesthetic, while introducing a redesigned camera island that bears more than a passing resemblance to the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
It houses two rear cameras, an LED flash, and what appears to be an additional autofocus sensor. The camera module also features a striped texture, while the familiar industrial styling and exposed design elements remain unmistakably Nothing. Instead of the full Glyph Interface seen on previous models, the Phone (4b) adopts a more compact horizontal Glyph Bar, designed to display notifications, charging progress, and app alerts.
On the front, the phone appears to feature a waterdrop-style notch and relatively noticeable display bezels, suggesting Nothing is positioning it squarely against popular mid-range rivals such as Samsung’s Galaxy A series. One design choice that may divide opinions is the use of black physical buttons on the otherwise light blue chassis, creating a strong visual contrast.
Under the hood, the Nothing Phone (4b) is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, matching previous Geekbench information. The benchmark listing, where the device appeared under model number A005, recorded single-core and multi-core scores of 1,088 and 3,155, respectively. The handset is rumored to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, Android 16 running Nothing OS, and a generous 5,400mAh battery. Storage configurations are expected to include 128GB and 256GB options.
Nothing has already confirmed that the Phone (4b) will be officially unveiled on July 7, initially targeting India and selected global markets. Pricing remains under wraps for now, but with its refreshed design, streamlined Glyph lighting system, and competitive mid-range specifications, the Phone (4b) looks set to become one of Nothing’s most important launches of the year.
