There’s been a flurry of new leaks regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 lately and it seems we’re about to also get a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. Techconfigurations is on the case, having just rendered such a device. We have a video of it below and a few renders and this model seems to borrow the S20 Ultra camera and upgrade it.
The device is basically a more angular S20 Ultra and it keeps the front 40 MP selfie camera in a screen punch hole. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has very narrow bezels, perhaps the narrowest yet and an in display fingerprint scanner. It also adopts a metal and glass body and uses a rectangular camera module like the S20 Ultra. There’s a new blue hue here which we like and the handset doesn’t seem to be as thick and beefy as the S20 Ultra. Nor does the camera module at the back.
Speaking of the camera, that’s that setup you’re getting:
- 108 MP main camera, OIS, PDAF
- 64 MP, telephoto, space zoom 100x
- 16 MP, ultra wide
- 0.3 MP, Depth camera
Basically just the telephoto camera is upgraded to a higher resolution and it also gets that periscope/prism seen on the Huawei P30 Pro, Oppo Find X2, Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and Galaxy S20 Ultra. The new S Pen doesn’t change its design too much, but it does offer new control gestures, an in built battery and a battery life of 2 hours. There’s also Bluetooth connectivity, remote capture support in the camera app and more. Honestly these aren’t exactly groundbreaking features.
Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a 6.9 inch AMOLED display with HDR10 and 120 Hz refresh rate, plus a 4850 mAh battery and support for 5G. There’s 65W fast charging and an Exynos 990 or Snapdragon 865 processor, plus up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. Hopefully we also get a bundled fast charger this time. Reverse wireless charging is on the table, too. Color hues include blue, purple, green, pink and dark red.
